I made a decision last night...or maybe that was the wee hours of this morning...
Not only am I boycotting USA programming, I am also boycotting all NBCU programming. I was going to watch Trauma. Now I am not. I have SVU on my DVR. I have not watched it yet and I am going to erase those eps to make room - WITHOUT WATCHING THEM. I am not giving NBCU even ONE SINGLE INCH of my support! They are losing my VIEWERSHIP and my MONEY. Which means:
I will not be watching Trauma. I will not be watching SVU. I will not be watching the landmark 20th season of the original Law & Order. I will not be watching Mercy. I will not be watching NBC Nightly News or MSNBC. I will not be watching The Weather Channel. I will not be buying GE products.
I am considering watching CI repeats on Bravo - but ONLY Goren and Eames episodes. Let them look at the ratings and see which episodes are actually being watched in syndication...if they even track that. I am doing this on principal, not to diss the other actors on the show. I am sorry that this whole thing has to affect Mr. Goldblum, but as I have said before, I feel very strongly about taking a stand here and so I have to do what I feel is right. I believe as an actor, and as a man, Mr. Goldblum will understand.

OBC, I totally agree. It isn't enough to boycott USA. NBC needs to be ignored too. Frankly, the only time I watch that network is for Sunday night football. I take comfort in knowing the network can't fluff football.

Well along with Patcat I now officially hate Ausiello. Its one thing to report rumor but just to be downright mean about it is pure evil. He had a not so nice comment to make about Mr. D'Onofrio leaving in his Thursday column that was just uncalled for. May the bird of paradise fly up his nose and crap in it.

Unless the Colts are playing, I have no reason at all to watch NBC. But, as I've written, I barely watch any network TV.

I just want to say that fans are moving all over looking for information. I've figured this out between here/USA forum and my blog.
So keep up the emails and comments. We're just gaining momentum!
I suggested we have a daily "hit list" of 2-4 sites to bombard with our emails/comments.
Susan has kindly assembled that and I will post today's hit in a bit.

As quietfire has stated, and many of us agree, a daily media and network “Hit List” would be a good idea. Our sheer numbers may help deliver our message. If you would like to join in, see below : Friday Hit List:www.ew.com/ew/static/h/email_ausiello.htmlfeedbackforms.usatoday.com/marketing/feedback/feedback-online.aspx?type=12 emails to: bonnie.hammer@nbcuni.com jeff.gaspin@nbcuni.com andrea.epstein@nbcuni.com Lynn Weiss, +1-818-777-6682, lynn.weiss@nbcuni.com Farrah Hersh, +1-212-664-4137, farrah.hersh@nbcuni.com And of course Send your postcards (more than 1!) to Bonnie Hammer President NBCU Cable Entertainment and Universal Cable Productions 3000 West Alameda Avenue Burbank, CA 91523-0002 Some suggestions to write about:To Ausiello: Let him know we are not happy about his nasty comment and that we are still fighting to save Goren and Eames To USA Today newspaper: Inform them of our campaign and our feelings for the shows stars. To everyone listed at NBCUNI: Let them know how upset and unhappy we are with their decision to let VDO & KE go and ask them to reconsider. On Postcards: Again, let Ms. Hammer know just how upset and unhappy we are! Ask her to reconsider.

Okay, here we go: Saving Goren and Eames NOW! savinggorenandeamesnow.blogspot.com/We'll work hard to provide you outlets for your frustrations! Quietfire - not so quiet this week....

Re. Ausiello, he is probably just in a grouchy mood because his publication is circling the drain. I have subscribed to EW for years and it has gotten as thin as a 1990s runway model.
Or he could just be jealous of the female attention that Goren enjoys. I won't even e-mail Ausiello as he doesn't deserve the attention.
