OK, one more post before I leave the building. For TCM fans, for those who love movies, check out the station's homage to the 100th anniversary of Akira Kurosawa's birthday. Kurosawa is perhaps best known for The Seven Samurai which inspired The Magnificent Seven and Yojimbo and Sanjuro which inspired the Clint Eastwood anonymous loner in the Sergio Leone spaghetti Westerns. My personal favorites, however, are Ikiru which will air on March 9, plus Rashomon and Ran which will air on March 30.

You might like "Dreams" which is more magical realism than plot driven.

Thanks for the recommendation Maherjunkie. Unfortunately, Dreams is not on TCM's list of AK's films to air this month. It's not even mentioned on the website in their movie library. I'll have to try to find it elsewhere.
I'm curious about AK's Japanese take on Shakespeare. I already mentioned Ran as one of my favorites, for his interpretation of King Lear. I also like Throne of Blood as an adaptation of Macbeth.
