A lot of you probably recall that IN THE WEE SMALL HOURS was based on the case of the murder of Natalie Holloway. The chief suspect in that case has reportedly confessed to the murder of a young woman in Peru.
The character assassination of Ms. Holloway by the police is particularly repugnant. Look, she obviously made some very bad choices in drinking and partying too much, but no one should die for being young and inexperienced. (Or, as a friend of mine has noted, no one should die for being young and stupid, especially if you're usually good and smart.)
