It would take a leap of the imagination to bring Nichole Wallace back but this is television. Olivia D’Abo expressed her own personal wish to appear on the show again so, obviously, this does not mean that it will actually happen…there again, is this not the “blue skies and fluff” channel?! --- Funny - yes Skittles, but I found this funnier - They Have a Super Secret Spouseblindgossip.com/?p=25772

Yes, I realize this is just ODA expressing her wish. I just thought it was funny considering our recent discussions! "Secret Spouse" ? AAAAAAGGHHHHH!!!!! But the description really doesn't allude to anything Goren or Eames IMO. Hey Jeffan... Are you TRYING to give me a heart attack?

Eeek! Um...no please, don't bring her back. I don't want this show turning into a soap opera. Besides, there's only 8 episodes left and I want as much originality as possible. Since the show killed her off, we don't need to see the dead rising from their graves.

I can't count how many places I have said this...but I'll say it again, just for kicks. PLEASE...Nicole Wallace must stay dead! I am not willing to suspend my intelligence to bring her back. She ended with her heart in a box. No getting around that.

I read somewhere else a LOCI lover suggested that Nicole could be brought back in flashbacks. That would work for me. Maybe there are "missing scenes" with Bobby and her that could be revealed during his therapy.

Do you mean during his therapy sessions?

LOL It's okay...my heart's still beating! Yes, I can imagine Bobby having flashbacks of encounters with Nicole while talking with his psychologist. I think the subject of Nicole would certainly come up during his therapy sessions.

Yep, seems credible to me that he may have to address any “Nichole Wallace” issues in his therapeutic sessions. She’s dead but she could certainly be one of the demons he has to exorcise as she made their encounters personal.
Afterwards he could eat scones with Robyn! ----
Sorry Lola, but this is a discussion board.

Hey, if she really jumps out of the closet ( it ends with a 't' , my silly silly head!) I will just speed dial Bobby and hend over the phone so she can call him '' Bubby'' again ( then I will run like hell).
Seriously, I think Nicole wasn't the one that made his life hell ( or should I dare to say she was a small part of it - yes she killed his brother but Goren was already on the highway to hell, she just gave the final blow). So a scene or two with her in it I could live with. What should he talk about with Robyn Widrow? About his mother, father, whole family is more likely. That is what made him, only a family shapes and gives you foundations you build from.
Let's think for a minute why must he have mandatory sessions. Bad behaviour, outbursts, insubordination ..please add more if you want. In general behavioral problems that caused his dismissal. And I do not think he has mental illness or is even depressed anymore ( clean shaved, hair cut, dressed in a suit). So maybe they will address only his behaviour ? On the otherhand he could hide his depression. And lets not forget she is a psycologist not a psychiatrist. And we do not know if he will receive psychotherapy of just counseling.
Something interesting I picked up from internet:
''the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist is that a psychologist primarily aids the depressed patient by counseling and psychotherapy. A psychiatrist may also perform psychotherapy; but, in addition, can prescribe medications and perform ECT (electroconvulsive therapy). A psychiatrist is a medical doctor. A psychologist may hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) and be called "doctor"; but, is not a medical doctor (M.D.).
In the context of mental health, "counseling" is generally used to denote a relatively brief treatment that is focused most upon behavior. It often targets a particular symptom or problematic situation and offers suggestions and advice for dealing with it.
"Psychotherapy" on the other hand is generally a longer term treatment which focuses more on gaining insight into chronic physical and emotional problems. It's focus is on the patient's thought processes and way of being in the world rather than specific problems.
In actual practice there may be quite a bit of overlap between the two. A therapist may provide counseling with specific situations and a counselor may function in a psychotherapeutic manner. Generally speaking, however, psychotherapy requires more skill than simple counseling. It is conducted by professionals trained to practice psychotherapy such as a psychiatrist, a trained counselor, social worker or psychologist. While a psychotherapist is qualified to provide counseling, a counselor may or may not possess the necessary training and skills to provide psychotherapy. ''

In the grand scheme of things, Nicole Wallace was the least of Goren's problems.

Nicole was probably far less of a problem than Frank or Bobby's mother.

Nicole was probably far less of a problem than Frank or Bobby's mother. Agreed. Had Bobby's childhood not been as messed up as it was, I doubt Nicole would've gotten to him the way she did. As it appears we're getting therapy sessions, I hope they focus mostly on his parents and brother and those family dynamics.
