[JOHNNY APREDA] Male. Late 20s. An extremely good looking athlete. Johnny is a rarity in New York; an attractive, devout Catholic who doesn't live with his mother. Deeply traumatized when a coach sexually abused him in his childhood, he has dedicated himself to presenting an impressive, charming, masculine, untroubled façade to the world. Now working for the bank of the Archdiocese, he is assigned to administer settlement payments to molestation abuse victims. Watching their testimonial videos pushes him over the edge – with violent consequences for a co-worker who has fallen in love with him. GUEST LEAD

[THERESA ESPINA] Female, Latina, early 30s. "Mona Lisa in business attire," Theresa is a prim woman, a devout Catholic whose had a very hard time finding a man whose faith matches her own. Very bright and very lonely, a woman who lives with her cats and her MBA from Harvard, Theresa is a senior VP for a Wall Street bank, and among her duties, she funnels settlement money from the Catholic Church to victims of sexual abuse. Having fallen in love with one such victim, Johnny Apreda, Theresa embezzles money earmarked for another victim and moves it into Johnny's account -- and dies soon after, an apparent suicide... [LAWYER] Male or female, 30s. A low-end jackal of a defense attorney, who does their best to stop their client from making a series of damaging revelations to the detectives. ONE SCENE

[BARTENDER] Male. A sympathetic bartender at an upscale hotel bar. TWO LINES
