Season 10 Promo at USA Site; "Intelligent Closure"

First, yay, there's a promo for the new season which apparently aired during Royal Pains this past week.

I think the scenes are from the new season, but can't be sure...

And here is an article about about a panel held recently with the heads of some cable networks, USA included. Nice comments about Season 10 being a "victory lap" and bringing "intelligent closure." I certainly hope so!

For Jeff Wachtel, head of original programming for USA Network, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” was originally an NBC vehicle, but the Dick Wolf skein moved to the cabler when the Peacock removed it from its schedule. Now shooting its 10th and final season that launches May 1, skein is bringing back original stars Vincent D’Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe.

Wachtel said instead of just letting the show end without much fanfare, the USA Network decided it wanted a “victory lap” for the show that “brings intelligent closure for us.”


I've been saying ad naseum to my friends who couldn't care less about CI that I wanted S10 to be a "victory lap." Glad to see USA shares my vision.

Kacesq, make that another YAY!! from me. I also saw that promo last night during a repeat episode of White Collar.

Thanks for posting this because I almost missed it--nearly broke my neck running to catch it! From what I could see in the final shot, the scene with Goren and Eames walking together appears to be a new one. VDO looks tall and much leaner and his hair is definitely darker (with some nice touches of gray on the sides). He is looking extremely good!!!

Kathryn Erbe is smokin' hot here too! I like her long hair parted in the middle and the blue top. I'd like to see Eames wearing some color. Seems like she was in black a lot in the last few seasons.

They both look great and Bobby's hair is almost long enough for those delicious curls I love so much!

skittles4me, I also think Kathryn Erbe is just gorgeous. I have been jealous of her hair, in particular, for oh...the past 10 years, lol.

idget, I love the curls as well. I think VDO actually looks better with somewhat longer hair.

I started to comment about how long his hair is and that it was beginning to curl. It's funny how we all noticed the same thing. He does indeed look better with longer hair!
