Has any one discussed the kind of love partner for Goren? (I don't remember this specific topic: what are the characteristics of Goren's love partner). It seems that despite the fact that he can cite Marcus Aurelius and recognize the perpetrator by smell, he is often clueless in love choices. Kind of a genius with a disability for couple relationships. What kind of woman would he like, and what kind of woman would love him? (Real love, not a fixation by a criminal like Nicole Wallace). I apologize if this has been already discussed somewhere else. Well, IMO, since you brought it up, :grins: ... I just can't imagine anyone else for him other than Eames. As a buddy of mine said "...their relationship will always be deeper and more interesting than any new significant other the writers could shoehorn in." So true! How could we ever love anyone else as much? How could he? It is just... Bobby and Alex have had only each other and have been there for each other for so long. Really, they have gone thru "for better and for worse" during the last 10 years and are stronger for it. How could any new character touch that? And if Goren found someone else, then what about Eames? She will be left all alone. It would be so tragic! :Sniff Sniff: I'm sorry... I just.... I can't... :blows nose loudly:

You sound like the father in "Arthur" when he finds out Liza Minelli is not going to marry money.

Honestly, I should have not brought that up. I don't like that skittles is too sad, on my side it is so painful to start thinking who could fit as Goren's woman. I prefer to leave it for the writers if they want to. About G/E I don't see them as love partners... (sorry Skittles), just as wonderful work partners and true friends, but I cannot see them as lovers. If they were so, how could they be without intimacy for 10 years? too much to bear. I will buy more Kleenex for Skittles...
