I know this is schadenfreude but -- great news, K-Q. These two young, flirty, glam dramas didn't do as well in their season premieres as LOCI in their total cumes.
Next numbers to examine are the ratings/share of these shows in the 18-49 demo.

LOCI needs to move back to NBC. The only other show on USA that is any good is IPS. I actually like that one these days - probably because I'm partial to Mary's brand of sarcasm and her oh-so-blunt way of telling it like it is.

Two years and now they act like they never did them wrong. All the hype about them being back...like USA knew it all along. HA! *snort* WE know why they are back!

And no Monday night numbers this week because of the hockey game. ;D

Really NBC, did you really think anyone outside Boston/Canada would watch hockey?

That's not fair. Our own Techguy is a big hockey fan. I like figure skating. I'm sure other people would be upset if the US or World Championships took the place of.LOCI, but I'd be cool with it,

No disrespect to TG. I was trying to point out was that unless you live in Canada or Boston, being fans of those two teams, general interest is next to nothing. I remember viewers getting upset because severe weather warnings interrupted LOCI. Hmm...

Patcat, thanks for speaking up. It was very unfair.
So Moonbeam, you don't think people in NYC, Chicago or Detroit aren't that interested in hockey? Those are big TV market cities, along with Boston. I can tell you as fact hockey is very big in those cities.
Plus, I don't live anywhere near any of those cities, and all the talk today where I work was excitement about getting to see a Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals on a network channel, and not having to have cable to see it. It was the same for Mrs. T where she works. Hockey might not have the same following as other pro sports, but to say no one outside Boston or Canada would be interested is just plain wrong.
Techguy, *having dinner early with Mrs. T so we can settle in and enjoy one of the most exciting events in all sports*
P.S. NBC might be stupid about a lot of things, but their decision to contract with the NHL for TV coverage is NOT one of them.

Anyone else want to pile on?

Weather alerts are different. You can just stick your head out the window. (And my tongue is planted firmly in my cheek as I write that.) I didn't mean to pile on anyone. Just felt the need to defend hockey fans, I guess.

Hey Moonbeam! I think I understand your original point. I don't like anything to come between me and my LOCI! I also wasn't aware hockey is that popular. I live in the south and the only person I know who is interested is originally from Boston. Then again, I'm not a sporty athletic type. I learn so much from y'all! But I still think some of those weather reports are ridiculous: "Hey people! We're going to get some rain tonight. You might hear some thunder. Don't stand outside in the rain if you see lightening..."

Weelll...no offense to any of the sports fans - hey, you're talking to a HUGE NFL fan here...but, but...when the NBA playoffs started interrupting my L&O schedule on TNT a few years back, I was always annoyed! LOL! TG, I was thinking about you on Monday night when I flipped on the TV and saw the game was on and so no LOCI. I knew you'd be watching! Edited because I can't seem to type properly this evening!
