First of all, Congratulations to the Boston Bruins. I saw the highlights on line - what a win! Also read how angry some of the Vancouver fans were after losing. Can't help but feel sorry for them. Our own NikkiGreen is from Vancouver. Sorry, Nikki. I adore basketball, so was fine with the NBA finals overtaking regularly scheduled TV. Congratulations to the Dallas Mavs, and especially Jason Kidd (who I've loved since he was on the Nets). Couldn't help but notice (thanks to Kacesq's link) that LOCI beat so many of the newer cable series such as "The Killing," "White Collar" and that buddy lawyer show on TNT (something and Cash?). Even in the adult category. Not bad for a 10 year old series that is celebrating a final season. Personally, it would be smart money to continue the series for at least another 8 episode run.

Our own NikkiGreen is from Vancouver. Sorry, Nikki. Thanks, DJ. Disappointing that the Canucks didn't win, but with all the injuries, not being able to get past the mountain known as Tim Thomas, etc., they did okay. They had a fabulous year. Next year! BTW, the angry ones were there to make trouble, irregardless of the game results. They came prepared with masks, goggles, weapons and devices to start the fires. The true fans are still today wearing the jerseys, flying the flags...

NikkiGreen, the Canucks are a great team, they had a fabulous season, no one can take that away from them despite their Game 7 loss. They also have great fans who support them in good times and bad. The rioters are in no way true fans, they were bad apples looking for trouble and unfortunately, the real fans are being unfairly grouped with them.
Too bad one team had to lose. I like players on both the Canucks and Bruins, but I am happy for Tim Thomas and Zdeno Chara. Especially Thomas, whose journey to Stanley Cup glory has been a long and winding road from college through the minors and European leagues. He was a mountain, without him no way the Bruins would have won.

It doesn't matter if they didn't make the top 25. Next week is the final episode. They're done, I'm done...well I'm not really done, but I understand that it's over. Not often are we witness to really good acting on television, and that, if anything, I'm grateful.

NBC ratings for Boots on the Ground--- 'Bachelorette' tops Monday's ratings for ABC... NBC came in second for the night, with an America's Got Talent rerun at 8pm drawing the network's highest viewership of 6.2m. Audience numbers fell by a million for an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent at 9pm (5.2m), but rose again from 10pm for an unseen episode of Law & Order: LA (6m). www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/news/a326154/bachelorette-tops-mondays-ratings-for-abc.html

I am afraid they were hit by Falling Skies. Steven Spielberg and Noah Wyle are a tough combo to beat.

Crap - I missed the first ep of Falling Skies. I've been wanting to watch that. One of the few shows that looks worth tuning in for. I watched a few episodes of AGT last summer, but only because of Michael Grimm. This year, I haven't bothered with it. I'd rather watch a movie.
