I loved it! So much better than that last church centered one, Faithfully. Will have to watch again to grasp killer's motive-so turned on by this new recharged Goren I forgot to eat my vegatables. He was almost cocky with the shrink-daring her to analyze him. He seemed almost rude to her. I also liked it when he exaggerated words-"ashamed" and "knock boots"-it's cute to hear him talk that way.
I know it's canonical law within television to not pick the obvious one but why couldn't it have been the vow abusing priest? (Redundant, I know)
And why didn't he sneeze around Piewack?
I like the new captain! Firm but affable. Loved that for once EAMES was the one who was asked to leave the room!
Did anyone else find it strange that he was just walking across the tennis court? He seem to want to non-chalantly interfere with the game.
MJ - the killer's motive was money. He was abused by his sports trainer (forgotten the actual sport) and only got eleven thousand dollars compensation. Theresa was paying out millions to victims so he killed her and stole the cheque which was payable to a victim who happened to have a car accident.

Angua and Maherjunkie: RE: why wasn't he sneezing around the cat?
Maybe he is still eating furballs!! ;D
I am allergic to cats, but some cats don't bother me as much as others. Long ago I gave a former boyfriend an ultimatum: he could sleep with his cat or with me, but he couldn't have both of us together in the same room. He put the cat out, but the relationship was doomed.
a-hem. Back on topic. I liked the new re-charged Goren too. Does he play tennis? Still undecided about the new captain "JOE". (Why JOE?)
In CHERRY RED Opossibly the best LOCI ever) Goren reveals he took organic medicine to keep his allergy to a girlfriend's cat under control. Goren's allergies may have gotten better, or maybe he wasn't exposed enough to the cat.
Maherjunkie__Great minds... A note about the Catholic Church and suicide: the Church now tends to view a suicidial as not being in his or her right mind and incapable of making a clear moral choice. So, a suicide may receive a Mass and be buried in sacred ground.
