Except, you know what, Jefferaldo, I don't blame this guy. I blame TPTB that BROUGHT HER BACK, ad nauseam! Anti-Thesis was actually a pretty cool episode. If only they'd let it go at that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That I would agree with - I detest Nicole NOW - but thought Anti-Thesis was fine until I heard she was going to be reappearing .... then we spiral down into the argument of her being totally unworthy as a nemesis. bluck

It looks like he will be the showrunner for Close To Home on CBS.
"From TV Guide:
Question: Is Annabeth's husband dead on Close to Home? — Staci
Ausiello: 'Fraid so. It's part of a larger revamp the show is undergoing during the hiatus. Spearheading the shake-up is former Law & Order exec producer Eric Overmeyer, who has been brought in as the new show runner. I hear he's planning to introduce several new (and, surprise, youngish!) cast members, including a hot male colleague for Annabeth. Also, according to a source, there will be an attempt to get away from the small-town-type crimes. "The idea of watching the types of crimes that could happen 'next door' didn't seem to appeal to viewers," says my Eye spy. Short-story-shorter: Everything that made Close to Home unique will vanish, and now it'll become like every other crime procedural on TV. Hooray!!"

According to www.imdb.com in addition to being the showrunner for Close To Home, he also has written an episode of the critically acclaimed HBO series The Wire for the upcoming season. He previously worked as a producer and writer for Homicide.

Although I don't hate Nicole anymore (I quite like her episodes), it isn't so much TPTBs fault for bringing her back as it was probably planned. The final act foreshadows her escape and return.
