Awww. I guess there won't be a Season 11?

They were correct in saying these eight episodes were a gift. I'm still hoping that it is not the end.

I will miss them so much! Thank you is not enough for these two actors. They really are magical. Every time I see their show I feel that good, humane and hard work is precious. I really will miss them. (And I love VDO of course!)

Leonore, I am also hopeful that USA will reconsider a Season 11. I know it's highly unlikely, but it's so hard to say goodbye......again. A beautiful video of the final shoot. I teared up listing to Katherine choking back her tears. So lovely.

Ever since I heard that we would be getting these 8 precious episodes I tried to prepare myself that it would indeed be the end. USA has broken my heart once and I was not going to let them do it to me again. But still I hope.

In that video KE said to the crew "we'll see each other again, either on this job or another job... "
See? It's a glimmer of hope! A little hint! (I'm good at spotting those!)
However it all works out, I'm just so grateful for these last wonderful eight episodes too!

Mr. D'Onofrio and Ms. Erbe seem to ve in very good places. Iwish them all the best. The show seems to be ending on a very high note.

I too am extremely grateful for the gift of 8 more angst-free episodes with Goren and Eames. However, unless and until I hear otherwise from USA, I will regard the video as a SEASON wrap, not a series wrap.

Thank you skittles4me for posting this video. It's heart-breaking ( still sniffing .. ). And thank you Techguy for words of hope.

I have to confess that I was afraid these last episodes wouldn't be among the best. And so far they've been great. These episodes have been, as someone said, a great gift.

Rene Balcer, the developer and original showrunner of LOCI, has been in touch with me about the last day on set. Here's what he had to say:
He goes on to say that he'll be spending this summer in Cambodia where he'll be visiting the Frances Goren Library (which was built with the help of LOCI fans) -- and that he'll send photos. And when he does, I'll post them.
Within the L&O universe, Rene Balcer invented the world of Detectives Goren and Eames. His scripts and stories put words and ideas to page. Without his vision and talent there would have been no Bobby Goren, no LOCI.
If you're as grateful as I am to Mr. Balcer, please take some time (and words) of your own to thank him, right here. I'm sure he'll be reading them.

AL--I got that email too, and was so moved and thrilled that I didn't know how to respond. Goren and Eames have gotten me through some bad times. Both brilliant and wonderful creations, and I'm very grateful to Mr. Balcer for creating them. And I'm happy that his work was acknowledged in these gestures.
