A jump off from a discussion on "Season 10 By the Numbers" where's there's been a discussion of things that annoy us when LOCI is preempted.
I'm angry when lame local programs preemept LOCI. Especially if the programs are advertisement.
And weather bulletins puzzle me. We get a lot of those here in Indiana, where we're in the middle of Tornado Alley. Now, letting people know about dangerous weather is good. But going on and on about it like it's the end of the world? And the first thing the forecasters say is to take shelter. So, if you're taking shelter, are you watching TV?

Amen Patcat! We have tornado season here also, but I have no desire to see graphics on how many lightening strikes there are every quarter mile or facebook photos of pea-sized, quarter-sized, ping pong ball sized, ect. hail! Tell me there's dangerous weather, take shelter, turn on your weather radio, but do not show me your weather toys! I got my mom a rock for her garden one year. Carved on it was the following: If I'm wet...it's raining. If I'm white...it's snowing. If you see me and I'm dry...it's probably sunny. If you tripped over me...it's dark and probably night. Enough said!
