Can you shed any light on the TV Guide Q and A about the 18 episode order?

A huge "thank you" to Ms. SenGupta for so generously giving her time and insight to us.
Q. I've heard rumors that we're going to meet Bobby's mother and brother sometime this Season. Is it true? If so, can the names of the actors playing those parts be revealed?
Q. I have seen the new Captain's interaction with Logan (as of this writing) but am curious to know if he's going to play "favorites" or ride both of them (Bobby and Mike) had this Season. He seems much more 'hands on' than Deakins. I haven't decided yet if that's a good or bad thing.
Q. Is Alex's behavior during the rest of the Season going to be affected by any post-traumatic stress resulting from her kidnapping? Will Bobby's guilt at not protecting/saving her make him more overprotective towards her?
Thank you for your time!

Most of the questions I wanted to ask regarding 2 hour episode, Wallace, Watkins, and the new ADA have already been asked. So:
How is Warren Leight's style different to Rene Balcer's? We see the difference on-screen but is he easier to work with or does he hold more group meetings, etc? How has he eased in to the job? Would you prefer to work under Leight or previously under Rene?
What do you think of the new style of the show? Is it CI reborn or is it an unecessary change?
Are there any plans to (finally) do a crossover with the Mothership or SVU?
Is Leight planning to bring back Wallace and Watkins this season?
Thank you Miss SenGupta for your time. =D

Thank you so much.
I have a few questions. You said in your last interview that Bobby was the subject of violent outbursts from both his schizophrenic mother and gambling alcholic father, and also in "Blind Spot" they sort of said that. That's sounds pretty logical. Can you shed any light on Bobby's abusive childhood, what made him the man he is today, both good and with problems?
Bobby is most definitely my favorite character (of all time!) If, as someone asked, you plan on using Eames more, you will not cut down on Bobby's time, will you? That would just plain hurt!
It seems (to me) that the last time we saw Nicole Wallace, she was going soft. That seemed somewhat out of character, and not much of a real nemisis. If she returns, can you bring her back to her old self, the one that made life hell for Bobby? A real nemisis? And will Nicole (or anyone) ever put Bobby in any physical danger?
I love the new changes, everything! And the new captain riding hard on Bobby will be very interesting!
Thank you so much for your time!

Guys, do we really think it's fair to ask Ms. Sengupta to compare her current boss to her former one? I think she might want to duck that one. I do want to know if the showrunner transition was orderly, and planned in advance, or a last minute change? Also, I wonder if Rene is still involved (I know, I know, I just said she won't want to comment on her bosses, but ... ).
Also, did Ms. Sengupta ever think the plots were too contrived in the last few years?

I didn't mean compare who's better but compare their styles and who she prefers.

Ms. SenGupta-- Thank you so much for agreeing to a second interview! It was wonderful to read your responses last summer. - There is talk of Goren's mother and brother and possible appearances. What about Eames' family? What sort of background is there with her relationships, and will we get to meet them in passing? (Mr. Leight mentioned a possible nephew appearance.)
- Who's the Moby Dick fan on the writing staff? Why has that particular novel had several mentions already? Can you reccomend it for personal pleasure?
- What kinds of literature do you read for your own enjoyment? Favorite authors, genres, etc.?
- "Dramma Giocoso" is one of my absolute favorites, so first and foremost, thank you and congratulations on something so wonderful. How did you decide on the operatic themes and the character styles? Do you have much music experience yourself? (Rodgers and Lenny--you made me so happy!--did you check with any of the mothership people before putting that in the script?)
- What was the cast and crew reaction like to the Nicole Wallace vote result/neverending story? Was it gratifying to know how invested fans are with the show, or a little scary that we take it so seriously?
- I know that France, at least, has adapted "Criminal Intent" for their own culture; Richard Belzer is scheduled for a guest appearance. Any chance of a cross-over? That itself is separate from syndication in Australia, the UK, Spain, etc. How does it feel to know that CI has a global fan base?
- And, out of personal curiosity, how did you find this particular forum out of all the other fan sites?
We all appreciate your time and efforts! Thank you kindly! --Catbird

Hi, Just a few more questions Has it ever been discussed to change the storylines into 2 part episodes or a movie? "In The Wee Small Hours" was awesome, and I feel part of it is because the story/episode was able to unfolded into 2 hours. Has anyone thought about writing a Law & Order show as if it where a serial? Not a soap opera, that delves into the love lives of the detectives… but a serial when it comes to the development of the crime cases. The detectives start out working one case….and then they come to a dead end…or they are thrown into another case in midstream….and by the end of the season, most, if not all of the cases are solved. Maybe something on the lines of "Homicide, life on the Street" but not with different detectives weaving in and out of the show....but the cases of just two detectives, OK four detecives in LOCI's case, weaving in and out of the season. What about the props for the show. Referencing the paintings, who’s job is that to incorporate them into the storyline? Have the writers ever thought about coming onto the forum, and creating an episode with the fans just for fun?

Hmm, I have only questions about the DVDs. Are their going to make the DVDs in german? Will there be season 3 for region 2? But I would be surprise if she'll answer my questions. ;D BTW A nice move from Ms. SenGupta to answer most of this questions and I want to thank her.

Hi BeachBoy -
i'll answer your question as far as DVD production and versions go - Ms. SenGupta is too far removed from that process to have any answers or input in that area
good question, though

How do the episodes receive their titles? And why are some changed?
I thought BLIND SPOT was brilliantly named, by the way.

Chris Noth is a huge Rock-n Roll fan. So do you think you would ever do a storyline for Logan based on a crime that occurred at a Music Festival? Such as Bonnaroo or the phish shows that happened in Maine.
The reason I asking this is a fellow deadhead was killed at a Dead show at the Knickerbocker and his killer have never been found. The ad runs every month in Relix offering the reward. This has been going on since 1989.
Thanks. If you can't tell I am a huge CN phan.

Thanks for doing this! You guys have some great questions, mine is kind of lame but I'm curious: (Excuse my terrible wording. It sounded A LOT better in my head) I noticed there were none of the Chung Chung/Doink Doink w/ location titles in the new CI eps. People have come to associate these with all Law & Order shows. I was wondering whose decision was it to remove them (and why) and will they ever return? Thanks again!
