CM- I'm sorry that the ads make you feel that way. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. I am so glad to have a great place to escape to and this is that place. And the ads don't bother me at all. I just ignore them. I guess I'm getting use to things we have to tolerate these days.

Did they (the ad people) believe that people would notice the ads more if they stuck them in the middle of the page? It just makes people annoyed, oftentimes enough to deliberately not try the product being advertised (at least that's how I react). Thank you, CM & Mod's.

The juxtaposition of some of the adds with the threads makes for some interesting moments. Such as "Are You a Good Parent? Take the Quiz to See" in the middle of a discussion on Bobby's mother.

Yes indeed. I wish I'd copied some of the funnier (and juicier) ads I've seen. Mastermind, glad to hear the good news.

We've been told that we're at the beginning of a trial period that will end April 16th. If people haven't "gotten used to it" (read: stopped bombarding them with complaints) by then, the Proboards owners will move the ads back. Here to announce the obvious - Ads In Threads are gone! Good work getting them removed, CM. It's much better without them! Thank you.
