Rom, I've seen Cold Squad. It's set right where I live...in Vancouver. Sometimes it's hard to imagine some things like that happening in your own back yard, but considering some of the things that have come to light in the past few years, like the Robert Pickton pig farm case, it's not so hard to believe anymore. I like it much better than Cold Case. Production on new episodes hasn't started yet, and there's no indication when they might start filming again. At least the show information in still on the CTV site.

:)NikkiGreen i agree that cold squad is a great well put togtehr series and the charcter a good and the stories a belviable( although sometiems they are a little to involved for instacne i think it drew out that whole conspicary/cover up a little to long and never really gave us any clear answers, just left us with more unsovled questions than before).
my only problem with this sereis is the fact that we only get only so late at night( 1.00 in the morning it would be better to put it on earlier i think).

nikkki i was wondering do you know who the palys the psychitrsit that hleps them with tem cases and whats is the chracters name. and who palys logazzo( ithink thats how you spell his name), i thnk i saw him in something else recently but i can remember what it was called or what it wa about. i really like this show it is very subtle and the chracter a bleviable and the crimes( even though sometimes unsual are realsitic). reagrds rom.

Rom, Detective Tony Logozzo was played by Michael Hogan. I hate to tell you this but he was only on for the first two seasons. He's been in lots of things. If you saw the recent remake of "Battlestar Galactica", he played Colonel Tigh. It has been a while since I caught Cold Squad (even though it is repeated in Canada on Showcase but the timing is odd) and I can't recall at the moment any details about the psychiatrist, so I'll have to get back to you on that one! NikkiGreen what happend at the end of the last season, where did all the cast go, i mean what happend to nico and the rest of the cast. mind you i like the new season, i like the feel of it, it seems more sedated than previous seasons, i mean it jsut seems to be at less of a break neck pace. reagrds rom.

Didn't mean to ignore your question, Rom. I haven't gotten around to catching any new episodes. So, I'm sorry I can't answer your questions at the moment. The new episodes come on Saturdays at 10:00 and I find, lately, that I don't watch TV on Saturdays, except maybe for about an hour or so (actually, I think my TV viewing, overall, has been cut down quite considerably). After having waited for so long for the newest episodes to be shown, I was looking forward to the season, but other matters took priority and I completely forgot all about it. Here's a link to the CTV's site: www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/show/CTVShows/1063403295219_5/Maybe one of the forum members there can answer your question. Sorry I can't be a bigger help.

I read on www.mediaweek.com where this series has cleared most markets for US syndication this fall. It seems to be a similar syndication deal to Da Vinci's Inquest and will probably air on weekends on local channels and may air daily on WGN. I am looking forward to seeing this series in the fall. If they delay L&O:CI until after football season, this might be a good diversion.

I just received an answer e-mail from WGN in regard to my question about both Cold Squad and Stone Undercover airing on WGN and the respondent said they did not get the rights to these shows. So I will as they say in ads "check my local listings" in September to see if the new CW or MY Network channels will carry it in my area. I hope so since many of you have had good things to say about both shows.

I just caught this show on one of my local stations and I already like it better than the US Cold Case. They did not start from the beginning. In fact they started midway into this series but I am glad to see some episodes. I hope the show continues to air in the US so I can catch the earlier episodes.
