Actually comedykicks inspired me to start this thread. So let's begin with this Top 10 list: Top 10 Reasons why LOCI is better than 7th Heaven
10. Leading male actor looks much better. 9. Eames didn‘t become a nutcase after she gave birth. 8. Toddlers aren‘t on the show on a regular basis. 7. There hasn‘t yet been a LOCI musical episode. 6. On LOCI, occasionally a good guy smokes. 5. Who‘s a better recurring menace: Nicole Wallace or Grandpa „the Colonel“ Camden? 4. Eames occasionally has bad bair, but not as bad as Lucy‘s in the last seasons. 3. Carver can quote the Bible better than Rev. Camden. 2. When Vincent D‘Onofrio cocks his head to the side it looks funny. If Catherine Hicks does the same it looks weird.
and...
1. Bobby Goren looks cool in his uniform (cf. „Stray“). Reverend Camden looks like a dork in that church garb of his. :-)

LOL. 11. The females aren't boy crazy. Vice versa for the guys.
I'm not even sure if the show is on anymore? Last time I watched, they had my Ruthie heading down the same path of crazy as her sisters went. I loved her character before she got hormones. She was like the only sane one left in the bunch.
I guess the writers decided she was a freak being normal in a family of loons.
Sorry to any fans of the show.

12. Det. Goren can gaze heaveward -- better than the Rev. Camden. It is seen in "The Faithful" and other episodes. He leans back in his chair, until he's nearly on scale with the ground. Then he gazes up into the air and looks very thoughtful. Rev. Camden merely twists his eyes. I am afraid this show hasn't been canceled yet. As for Ruthie... in the early seasons she was supposed to be a precocious little tomboy, sometimes cute, sometimes annoying. Later she became a Mary/Lucy clone. With her whining about boys (Peter...Vincent...) she became very much like Lucy, once Glenoak's make-out queen with a long list of boyfriends... Jimmy Moon, Rod, Jordan ("Big Lips"), Andrew Nailors, Mike Pierce, Jeremy, Robbie (and his two brothers, BTW), and finally Kevin, that guy who looked as if he'd jumped out of a beefcake calendar. They should make a very special episode on spousal abuse, with Kevin being the wife-beater and Lucy having blue and yellow marks all over her body. A bruised lip what also be fine. But they won't, because Kevin is always presented as the perfect man and husband, although he does have many character flaws. To me, 7th Heaven is the schoolbook example of a show that has been on air too long.

Re-#9.......
Lucy was a nut case long before she ever gave birth....
To this day it totally surprizes me that Kevin married the woman. *He* even thinks she's nuts.

LOL......
I hear nut I always think of Lucy.....the look on Kevin's face when he talks of her escapades just goes so well with....a nut. Anywho....
How is it that in that entire family *no one* noticed that Ruthie's tight curls got freakeshly straight let alone noticed that she has only grown about a foot in the last 5 years? The writers should have written in a complex or two and turned her into a total goth punk. It would have been great!

Well, Lucy surely is the nuttiest nutcase in the family. Ruthie's hair... it was very, very curly for the first seasons, than it was straigthened, when she was 10 or 11, not sure. It couldn't have been a perm when she was a toddler, because nobody would do t hat to such a little child (unless the child's name were Shirley Temple), so we are to presume that it was "conked" when she was older (but still not old enough to own make-up, as the show tells us). Later it became curly again, for a season or so, while Ruthie was dating Vincent, and it suddenly relaxed again. As for the skin tone, she is darker than all the other Camdens, so I once thought that Sgt. Michaels fathered her and not the rev.

According to www.imdb.com, Martha Plimpton who will guest star on the season premiere of L&O:CI season 6 wrote an episode "Red Socks" (2005) of Seventh Heaven.

LOCI doesn't give you the feeling that some twisted brain-wash cult is writing the script although LOCI has lots of faithful acolytes.

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME!!! Everyone on that show is just *too* dang perfect. Plus I'm a little gothic, so that would have been cool....haha.
And someone said there should be a crossover episode of "LO:CI and 7th Heaven"...well my best friend Danielle and I are getting together a bunch of friends and so doing that!!! It's a musical known as "7th Order: Criminal Heaven". (we're such nerds...)

Does anyone think that the women on this show get married WAY to early for the year 2007?

Eames didn‘t become a nutcase after she gave birth. <-- I thought she was always a nutcase. I dont watch the show but it seems like every time she's talking to her husband she's ragging on the poor guy and I think. Why did you ever marry this woman? 7. There hasn‘t yet been a LOCI musical episode. <--- There was a Musical episode of 7th heaven!? OMG! SO let me guess they just had to do it because WB's other show Buffy did and it actually got ratings. 3. Carver can quote the Bible better than Rev. Camden. <-- LOL now that's funny. LOCI doesn't give you the feeling that some twisted brain-wash cult is writing the script although LOCI has lots of faithful acolytes. - Ha Ha Ha! ;D Does anyone think that the women on this show get married WAY to early for the year 2007? - My cousin has pointed that out. How old were they when they got married? Here's a question. Has ever one of the Camdon kids ever had a huge problem? Like doing drugs or something? Cuz It seems like when ever I pass by or hear about it- it's always something huge problem with their kids friends and never with their kids.

Yeah, Simon the 2nd son, killed another kid, either it was a car accident or he hit them, with his car. its been so long, i don't remember the details. We lost interest in the show when Lucy married Kevin. She just got strange, she lost her identity or something. Kevin wasjust too arrogant
