It looks like Andre Braugher will guest star on ER next season according to www.nbcmv.com"Over a span of six episodes beginning in the season's fifth episode, Braugher will play a carpenter who enters the emergency room with a seemingly simple cough. But due to heavy patient congestion, he suffers a stroke while waiting despite the attempts of Dr. Kovac (Goran Visnjic) – and his life eventually falls apart as a result of his paralysis. Earlier, Braugher starred on NBC's "Homicide" as a tough police murder detective and won an Emmy as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. "

Thanks for the info Filmnoir, I haven't seen ER in years, but I wouldnt mine seeing this episode. I think Andre Braugher is a great actor. Wouldnt it be cool if he guest starred as Frank Pembleton and he met up with Bobby Goren. Can you see the two of them in the gray room sizing up a perp I saw a bit of "Subway" yesterday. I always feel that neither wanted to be in the other shoes. What talented men they both are!

I saw a bit of "Subway" yesterday. I always feel that neither wanted to be in the other shoes. What talented men they both are! Great episode of TV period. The audio commentary is interesting if you have the DVDs. If you are watching it on Sleuth, I will make another recommendation if "All Is Bright" is the next episode they show, watch it--it has a great performance by Kathryn Erbe. The irony is she is even questioned by actress Callie Thorne who showed up in season 4 in the Silver Lining episode and is questioned by Eames.

Dirty Pool with the DVD collection : After they released all of the seasons on DVD and I purchased every season. These season DVDs did not have the L&O episodes that were part of the Homicide crossovers. And we all know how slow the L&Os are about rolling out their seasons. Well now A&E is releasing the complete series set which will include the L&O episodes. Just lovely

If you're up North and get The Mystery Channel, episode "All is Bright" guest starring Kathryn Erbe will be on tomorrow (Thursday, December 14). On the West Coast, HLOTS airs at 4:00PM, 8:00PM and 11:00PM. The final airing of "Subway" is on at the moment. Man, I haven't seen that episode in years.

I am enjoying my Season 6 DVD set of Homocide which I received for Christmas. Loved The Subway with VDO & All Is Bright with Erbe.
I love this series & can see how people can compare it to the "new" CI.
Definitely ahead of its time in how it used the camera & music to evoke a mood. Also, tasteful approach in the use of backstory to enhance the plot and not lose sight of the crimes & criminals.

Yes, it wasn't hyped much during its run. I spent most of the 90's raising my three kids, all were very young & I wasn't in tune with what was on television (hubby watched sports - kids watched Barney & Ninja Turtle tapes).
A question, please. What seasons are worth renting from Netflix? The last episode of season 6 implies great change for season 7 (and a lot of characters that do not return?)
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
