Its the publicity of corruption that is unacceptable, not the corruption itself. I have been thinking about that line, all night long.... it really bothers me, cause I think its soooooooooo true, I will also say this. For myself....when it comes to a "crime" done against me or anyone else, I struggle more with the persons knowing what they did was wrong and not care, then what was actually done. Does that make sense? Can you find me a link JanetHyland? I have been looking...but I haven't found one yet... I want to make sure I am reading the same story as you. But as for everything you have said about what the BBC has done. I feel its wrong too... but it's not just people behind the show pretending to be fans just to boast the ratings of their shows. It's also all of the sites out on the Internet, trying to impress the people at the studios. Hoping that some big shot will grace them with their presence. Some sites, delete, modify post so the big shots aren't insulted, by what the fans think or say. That's not right either. It's not a true picture of what the viewing audience is thinking.

Here'sa link with an ironic last paragraph. and the other hand... Here's onethat headlines: "Sky News reporter quits over bogus Iraq Story Forlong and Chaytor were suspended yesterday after the BBC documentary crew claimed to have proof the Sky News report was faked. ..." I'm against phony winners and bogus competitions. I'm not against people influencing outcomes. Sitcoms, British and USA have always had laugh tracks. Advertising has always been product-specific in TV shows and movies. Presidential debates are allowed. For me, it's not a big deal unless constructive critical faculties become atrophied.

I believe you are right...everything has a price, and the bill always comes due, sooner or later. Another Rule Of Life we seem to have forgotten...
