I only live about 60 miles south of New Orleans, so I was excited to see a new Series was being shot in New Orleans. This will bring money and jobs to the people of New Orleans, so I am trying to watch it and want to like it so hopefully it will survive to help the people of New Orleans. Its starts with scenes of the Katrina, people hurt and a police officer and his partner helping victums on a bridge. Well one of the officers just leaves. Which actually happened with Katrina, some officers broke into dealerships, stole Cadilacs and left. Said they had to go check on their families. Then it cuts to present day, with the officer who stays getting a new partner, who has his own secret, seems he was a prisoner during Katrina, locked in a jail with only a few months left on his sentence. The other prisoner he was locked up with couldn't swim, he had no choice but to drown him, or they would both die, but decause of the storm and flood, record were distroyed so he was able to join the police force, but his partner had found the record but he said he would keep his secret. Its a so so show, it really shows the distruction of New Orleans, Makes me wonder if it will hurt tourism, but there are still nice things to see, and they haven't shown that. Two things made me laugh, One when the guy asked " Hows your mamma and dem" we really say that here, and one one of the buildings it had FEMA
Fix Every Thing My Ass. Just wondering if anyone else caught the show. And what you thought of it, and if you ever been to New Orleans and how it made you feel about the area. And if the show affected the way you feel about the area.
