Do you have a TV show you're embarassed to admit you love? I proudly proclaim my allegiance to LOCI as a well written and acted (well, usually) show. But I must confess to a great love for:
THE WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS on Animal Planet! Particularly cats doing stupid things. My ten-year-old friend Zach and I can't drink soda when we're watching it or it snorts out our noses. I laugh uncontrollably when I watch it.
I have confessed. I feel better.

Ummmm.... American Idol. I know, I know, it's a stupid, silly show. But I really like it, especially the clips of really bad performers. Amazing how the worst singers & dancers think they're awesome. I also love Simon; his brutal honesty is refreshing & he is so right on about people. He isn't really cruel, although it seems like that when he's presented out of context. The best is when it really gets close at the end. Mind you, I would never put American Idol above CI. And I hated when they were in conflict with each other. I would tape Idol, of course.

I love "Don't Forget the Lyrics!" on Fox. It's full of bad karaoke singers and songs my son hates that I know the words and music to. And it's on right before Criminal Intent on Thursday night. It's my perfect night of television.

Anything to do with Britney. Not a show, but it could be at this point.

The Hills which is well and truly dumb with dumb people doing dumb things and getting dumber by the minute. The mtv aftershow is wickedly funny though.
My real guilty pleasure (because it is something that only people 60 years old and above openly declare) is Corrie - that's Coronation Street. I've been watching it since I was ten years old. CBC (60+ remember) airs FOUR programs worth on Sunday mornings...

Oh, goodness, Canadians are allowed to watch Coronation St without it being a guilty pleasure! I never did, but I've heard tell

LOL! Actually lately it's appealing to the younger gen - much better looking characters - well better looking than Hilda Ogden and Ken Barlow anyway.

Deathroe and I could be separated at birth. When my husband and I were first married we had no cable, so we only got a few TV stations. This was a couple years after Cops started and it aired nightly on a station we actually received, so we'd point and laugh at the hapless criminals.
And today? I have bad bouts with insomnia and I channel flip in the wee hours...I can't help but stop on Dog the Bounty Hunter when I come across it.

My guilty pleasure was canceled a while back, but I still will watch reruns of "While You Were Out" I just think their cast and crew were really nice people. Other than that, I really don't watch much TV, just all LO:CI and LO:CI reruns, all the time, oh, and The Daily Show and Colbert Report, for which I feel absolutely no guilt at all, but I do watch them a day late. Madger, who still hasn't started working yet, bad Madger.

Lockdown--and all it's spinoffs. I'm too embarrassed to waste more time speculating why... (though my darling daughter makes the effort to assure me that Goren will never show up to talk his way out of a beat-down...)

Judge Alex......don't know why, just like to watch him. Also the Steve Wilkos show. It is so horrible but I can't help it. Kind of like watching people out and about who are fighting over something trivial.
