I gave this episode a B. Thought there was too much back story and not enough good crime story. They even had an extra 8 minutes to add to the plot lines. The characters weren't very sympathetic, either.
I did enjoy how Logan showed care and concern for Wheeler's obvious distress. And ME Rodgers was great at the end in the mobsters graveyard. She shows her subdued emotions so well. Wish they would give her more than 30 seconds at a pop.

A "B" from me too, L/W epis still seem like aa altogether different show to me, good TV not great CI, pecially since there is very little intent involved.

I couldn't come up with anything that, for me, would justify giving this episode higher than a C. I think it's premature to be getting into Wheeler's backstory; and unfortunately, even with the extra time, that story took too much away from the crime, the criminals, and the investigation.
Had a few hints been dropped about Wheeler's background (in classic CI fashion), maybe with a few visual foreshadowings, and the rest of the story kept focused on Riordan/buds/family plus Logan and Wheeler's evolving teamwork, I think the ep could have been a very good one.
