I love the idea of an opener with all four, too. That would have been a great introduction!
Nikkigreen, those "geniuses" at NBC couldn't find their butts with both hands in broad daylight. ;D

What the writers and the showrunner perhaps didn't remember or didn't understand was that Vincent D'Onofrio BUILT HIS OWN character, down to the quirks, working to sharp scripts - and I am referring to the first and second seasons. It was rich and compelling and magnetic, and it was largely all VDO's own work. Now, our almost-friend (when USA finally 'finds' that elusive 16-week window ;-)) Jeff Goldblum is nothing if not always interesting to watch. This is just wonderful insight. Once again, I would love to see the show we create here! -almost friend, elusive 16 week window! ;D Great stuff DB!

I so agree leanonme. Dragonsback's capacity to grasp the essentials of any topic under discussion is remarkable. Her 'turn of phrase' is always a joy to read!

She and I have been here (and were on other boards) together for quite awhile. Even though I don't say it anymore (I used to) I have always found her thoughts enlightening, engaging & well......just a blast!! ;D

I've only been here for a short time, but I think this board (at least the posting members), is quite an assortment of nice, well-behaved, CI obsessed people, that know the value of a well-mannered, thorough discussion. Of course tempers rise at times, but I havn't seen something really nasty.
"But" I have to second the notion, I find myself in awe of the language skills of some members.

Quick, someone pass me the emoticon for 'deeply touched'. My god, leanonme, jeffan, my dearest DJ and esteemed AL, you people are too much - sine qua non, as those of us who live in ancient Rome like to say. (As usual, your checks are in the mail. Nothing equals the genuine respect that only money can buy, eh?. )
