I gave this episode a solid A. ;D Well written with a few interesting twists. And a perfect portion of personal plot line (say that three times fast).

Another I'd like to give an A-/B+. I really liked it, but I couldn't tell if there were things we should laugh at.

I give it a B+.
This was a good episode with much better writing and story than other recent offerings. It's the first episode in a long while (I'm going back to last season as well) that I'm actually looking forward to seeing again!
Loved Nichols, the Nichols/Wheeler/Ross interactions, and the off-beat humor of this outing.

I've given this episode an A+ because I was entertained and Ross/Nichols/Wheeler were a threesome that made me laugh out loud.

I gave it an A. I think it could have been better if they'd have gone more intot the "why" instead of the "who," but as everyone else has mentioned, the chemistry, the humor, the witty dialogue were all fantastically entertaining

I gave it a B/C because like Patcat, I'm not sure there are things we should laugh at. On a more personal note, I don't tune into LOCI to laugh out loud. Two episodes in and I'm somewhat tired of watching Goldblum being Goldblum playing a cop.
I propose a new drinking game: For every Goldblum eyeroll, drink a shot.

Well that is Goldblum's acting Style! Well I'd rather laugh while watching LOCI, than crying or getting all depressed after being done watching the show lol. My life is already quite chaotic without adding more to it 0_0

I respectfully disagree, Moonbeam.
I don't think Goldblum is being Goldblum. I'm certainly not an expert, but in interviews he seemed to be different. Zack seems to be quieter and more laid back than Jeff, Jeff is kinda "bouncy". And that handtalking that I've been mentioning over and over... it's not there. Jeff does it, Nichols doesn't.
And LOCI has always been humorous. Whether it was Bobby's bends and leans (I just saw Con-Text yesterday, and the way he crawls across the table is just LOL) and Eames always had lots and lots of snark. Never even mentioning Logan's sarcasm... or Falacci's spark...
Also, in Rock Star, Wheeler was the one who got all the snarks, not Nichols (though he had a couple of lines, too). I do like the lighter tone to the N/W eps and I think the G/E need some of it, too. Both PD and IC where rather "dark" episodes...

After two episodes I'm not sure we can make any judgments about Nichols and Mr. Goldblum, but I see him as being the sort of character Mr. Goldblum has played in the past. But he was hired for a reason, and I'm glad the writers and producers are using his slightly off-kilter sense of humor. And, as noted, humor, usually of the bleak, black, defensive kind and usually expressed by Eames, has always been a part of LOCI. IN TREATMENT seemed to me to be an appropriate episode to allow more humor to appear. I thought it flowed naturally from the story line and the situations and I liked it.

I can see Moonbeam's point. There was quite a bit of humor & snark. It did fit in with the particular tone of this episode, and that's fine.
But I do hope that this isn't the start of a new trend for the N/W episodes. We don't want Goldblum to be tailored as a new "Monk." That's a LOCI that's too light for my tastes.

Oh, Zach Nichols is way too stable to be MONK.
