I know there are some Welles fans about on this board.
His eldest daughter has published a memoir entitled IN MY FATHER'S SHADOW. I've heard some interviews with the author and read an excerpt on Amazon, and this appears to be that rare memoir of a parent that looks for understanding rather than revenge.
THE LADY FROM SHANGHAI airs tonight (11/30) at 8pm (EST) on Turner Classic Movies. TCM will also be showing THE THIRD MAN later this month.
ORSON AND ME, a film based on a novel told from the point of view of a young man who finds himself in the Mercury Theater's acclaimed production of JULIUS CAESEAR, is in limited release. The reviews have been good, especially for the actor who plays Welles, and also for Zac Efron, who plays the young man.

What!? A new Zac Efron film that I didn't hear about first from my squeeling tweenagers? I am agog. Particularly because this one sounds like one I'd actually like to see with them ;D

This is apparently Mr. Efron's attempt to develop as a serious actor. I hope it works for him.
