An exsanguinated body. That's a new one for CI, even in the Season 9 universe of black holes.
Is it just me, or do the characters in this episode make the Goths Goren and Eames encountered look like choir boys?
Now I suppose I'll have to dig up my Carl Jung books out of the boxes in my basement.

I would have liked to see them stick it to the grieving father a little more.
N's partner is fleshing out nicely - holding her own - and pushing back. Snarkless, but I think that is good - we don't want another snarking partner so soon after Eames leaving. So the way this one pushes back seems good to me.
The pace was ok - could have used a few more spots of frantic or faster paced stuff.
I like the club owner blondie & how she reacted to the detectives.
Goldblum came up with some great facial expressions - but the one I didn't understand; they knew about the goth and blood drinking - but when he opened the little frig - there was a look of primal disgust on his face ..... was he putting on a show for Antoine ? To pretend he was more disgusted than he was ?

Well, due to my own incompetence, I failed to pay my cable bill (70 cents is not 70 dollars. Always proofread your checks.), and didn't get to see this episode. I felt the need to explain why I won't be commenting on this story until later. My heart belongs to Goren and Eames, but I'm giving support to Nichols and Stevens.

Actually, this is one time where I understand the cable god's motivations.
I'm not a great admirer of Comcast, and it took me forever to reach a customer service rep. Once I did, however, she was extremely nice and competent. I just wish that the cable TV and phone companies wouldn't try to sell you stuff while you're on hold. It strikes me that trying to sell to people who are probably upset with your service isn't a good idea. And don't tell me my phone call is important to you while you've got me on hold. If my call was that important, I wouldn't be on hold.

I found that over the last 3 seasons I just watched if I came across the show ... This season I am actually looking forward the shows !
Thanks so much Jeff G and new writers !
Not as good as the first years; but very entertaining again.

Actually, this is one time where I understand the cable god's motivations. Knowing you're a sensible gal from the Midwest, I knew you'd understand.

WORD, Techguy. This was a sick bunch. Was is going on with this show? The crimes and criminals are more and more depraved each week. It's getting silly, really. When that guy bared his "fangs" at Serena during interrogation, I wanted to laugh at the absurdity of it. At least they qualified why Major Case was called in (Senator's daughter). And like Metella, I would have liked more scenes with the father.

Someone wanted to know the overall average for this season as relates to previous seasons, here are the results I read: Season 7: 4.5 average, Season 8: 3.9 average, Season 9: 2.94 average ( to date) goldbloom episodes. Not a very good picture, but Wolf will not go easily, but really can anyone call these good numbers?

Agree DJ. They're not giving us fluff. They're giving us silly. The security camera in the dorm hasn't worked since September? How convenient for the writers. ;D

I finally got to see this Saturday night. I liked seeing Dan Butler as the congressman/father and thought him effective in his few scenes. I wanted more about the victim and her family. The dynamics among them seemed much more interesting than what was going on between the two would be vampires. The psychopath didn't seem much of a rival for the two detectives. I am growing to like Stevens and Saffron Burrows more the more I see of her. There seems to be a lot going on under her surface. Why was the ex-boyfriend still living in the dorm if he's not registered for classes?
