I'll take a wild guess that a phalanx of PR BS artists have been hired to spin doctor the latest mess they created.

Don't know if any of y'all have followed the threads over there where we discussed the IP address thing, but there are tons of screen names that post at different times, and sometimes at the same time of day, and all with the exact same IP address info.
There are two who came out actively in favor of cancellation and others who railed against those who were not watching the new season. There's one over there who seems to be a big fan of Balcer who is really banging the drum for LOLA, and still others who accused those of us that were not watching of bullying the ones who were. It was pathetic. It was laughable. It was playground bullcrap at its best. And the funniest part of all? NONE of these so called "fans" were actually discussing the episodes! Interesting...
I'm sure they are doing their best huddle right now, trying to figure out how to spin what's happening now. Yeesh!
It's just too bad that TPTB didn't just do a full S9 with Goren and Eames and Nichols and Stevens. They could have done it right, ended it there, and given the show a great sendoff. Instead, they gutted the cast, insulted the fan base and ended up with a couple of episodes that were lauded as very good while the rest were either so-so or so bad they deserve to be relegated to the basement forever.
I hate to see the way it ended up. It's not how it should have been. At least the Mothership went out in style.
