Hello All, It's been a long, long time, but I knew it would come again and life is finally worth living once more!! I just read on EW's site that our lady Eames will be back as Goren's partner for the last season of CI. I am so happy I could do an Irish Jig! I can't because of chronic foot pain, but I can rock back and forth with joy (or side to side)!!! I stopped posting when things got bad for me with the USA change, especially the theme music change to that of L&O Trial by Jury. Some of you may recall how upset I was; although I continued to watch until last seasonand stopped after the two farewell episodes. While I liked Goldblum, it got worse when Wheeler left and with the addition of MEM as Captain. I did not like her on Without A Trace and I knew I could not watch her on my favorite L&O show. Anyway, I don't want to ramble on endlessly. I just want to say that I am happy to be back on the CI Board with you and look to seeing what all of our fans have to say!! For now, roots2rock

Welcome back, roots. Glad to see you. I never saw MEM on "Without A Trace," but I have to say that I really like her on LOCI. If we can't have Ross, then I'm fine with her staying. Hopefully other fans who left because of the changes with return to post.

Sad that this will be the final season for the show, but delighted that Vince and Kate will be the team to lead the show. Goren and Eames back where they belong!

I am actually more excited about the spinoff, for some reason.

You mean this "committment" they have with DW for a pilot episode? I haven't seen any details on it so far. Anyone else? Curious!!

Thanks DonnaJo,
It's feels good to be back with such good company.
Like I said, I have not seen any LOCI episodes with MEM. I guess I'll check out some re-runs.
Can someone further elaborate on the "spin-off" maherjunkie refers to? I don't think it's L&O: Los Angeles; or is it? "obc" what commitment do you mean?
How do any of you feel about LOLA? I know it's still early, but thoughts... Strike that last question. I just saw the LOLA sub-board and I can read comments there. Thanks again folks!

A couple (no more than that) news reports about Mr. D'Onofrio's return have vaguely (very vaguely) mentioned (in passing) something about some kind of spinoff of LOCI. I suspect it doesn't exist.

In tribute to John Lennon's birthday, you may say I'm a dreamer. But I am not the only one. ;D

I can't help but wonder if there was an agreement of some sort among Mr. Wolf, Mr. D'Onofrio, and Ms. Erbe that the actors would come back if things didn't work out for the show.

a spin off would be great with VDO and Erbe but yeah...sounds too good to be true.

Hey Patcat, et al
I knew Patcat would be on top any info. You folks are the best! I like the changes that have been made to this site--pretty cool.
mj,
I also made a comment about Lennon's birthday on another site where there is all of this bickering about inane stuff. I said, in the words of the great, late John Lennon, a Beatle, Why can't you just "LET IT BE! LET IT BE!" We can always dream. You are NOT the only one with "Mixed Emotions." Until later...

You can let it be, but you can also catch a falling star, put it in your pocket, and never let it fade away.

Perry Como (yea, I know he didn't write the song) and John Lennon on the same thread. How cool is that?

I have no idea why I thought of that song. I guess you could say that LOCI will forever be in our pockets, so to speak.

Alas, the only stars we could reach were just starfish on the beach.
