I'm not quite sure where to put this, so I'll place it in the general discussion by default.
This weekend I went to pick up a book I had on hold at the library, and, as often, happens, I picked up a couple of other books. One was THE UNOFFICIAL GUIDE TO LAW AND ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT. Not a bad basic guide to the series and one that acknowledged that this show can be uneven (sometimes terribly) and exploitive (again, sometimes terribly). The authors were awfully cozy with the cast and crew and production people for it to be an "Unofficial" guide, and I was disturbed by at at least one error (the sort of error that could've been easily checked and the sort that causes me to doubt a book).
But the book irked me. There's a guide to the mothership and now one for SVU. Where is the guide for LOCI? Once again, it's the red headed stepchild.
Patcat (just...irked...again)

Sounds like a business opportunity to me! Maybe we could get one published?

O.K. what a great idea. I would buy one right NOW if there were one. Wikipedia or Imdb are not exhaustive enough for me. It buggs me to check facts on different sites or look for it first on forums and then check it again by watching the episode.. and rewind back and forward to catch that piece of info I just desperately need to know to rest my mind... and go to sleep ... I am no Bobby to blurb things form top of my head whenever I want to..''sigh'' Maybe we can make it together...just a thought to chew on..
