Hi All,
I've tried searching for this everywhere and can't find and answer so I thought I'd give it a shot here.
Discovered CI late on in S3 so recently when a UK channel started a re run from the start I set the DVR to get the lot.
Cool! an hour of CI every night...heaven.
Then I started to notice a trend. In every episode, all the Detectives badges had a black band to show they were mourning the loss of a fellow officer? Once or twice you put down to artistic license but every episode?
Does this relate to anything in particular? At first I thought it might be something to do with 911 but the show must have been shot prior to that horrific event.
Anyone have any insight on this?
Cheers

Season 1 episodes featuring the black band across the badges were filmed after 911. Welcome to the board, Scoops.

Much obliged Nikki, that all makes sense.

Maybe not on TV, but how sad that in real life, somewhere, everyday a Police Department is in mourning. We've had our share here, and I've noticed New York City went through a rough spell, as well as Florida. Everytime I see one of my cop friends, I end with "be safe".
