The January 16, 2005 TV GUIDE has an article on recent events regarding all of the LAW AND ORDER shows. The report on LOCI is:
"Chris Noth is back! For one episode in February, Noth shows up as Mike Logan, the cocky cop from the original LAW AND ORDER cast, and butts heads with CI's Det. Robert Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) over a case. (Fans can also look forward to two likely TV-movies featuring Logan next season.} And CI executive producer Peter Jankowski vows that, despite recent fainting spells and rumors of tension on the set, D'Onofrio is not leaving the series. "CRIMINAL INTENT is all about Vincent," he says. "He was just exhausted. He's been doing great." "

I was astounded yesterday to see an LOCI promo for tonight's ep of WANT as well as favorable comments about the show and about D'Onofrio. The astounding part was that it was on the TV Guide cable channel that constantly runs what is currently showing. Whoever wrote this promo/comment likes the show and D'Onfrio, a departure from previous TV Guide comments.

I saw that bit, too! I wonder if they were just really impressed with Want, or if they've changed their minds about CI.

I’m sorry I missed that, but thanks for letting us know. In any case, I’m not sure it was ever “they” at TV guide, so much as that one critic, Matt Roush. He may not have much to do with what gets written for the on-air version (one can only hope!).

The guy who writes one of the INSIDER columns, Ausiello, is also not a L&O fan.

Ausillo absolutely just *drools* over Mariska Hargitay, though.

I just read on another site that the "Finale Special" of the US version of TV Guide has a full page picture and a full page of interview with VDO.
