Thanks, for the article, Cassie! I've never considered myself to be a connoisseur before! How about you, NicoleMarie?
This Wikipedia project is just so very big. And I'm only up to the sixth episode! Anyone who would like to contribute (and have my eternal gratification) and doesn't want to post on Wikipedia, just post here or message me, if you need to. I need screenshots, episode summaries (and they HAVE to be original, alas), quotes, and episode trivia. Not to mention bios for Deakins and Carver. Remember every little bit helps and additional clichéd inspirational comment! Thanks!

caution to all posters using this
in the owner's (Wikipedia's) own words this is NOT a reliable source & in my words is tainted with subjective views, i think it should be looked on as no more than a message board, certainly not a reference source for anything

I agree with Mr. Wales in that I think Wikipedia is a good source of background information - a place to start your research. From there you can do your own thorough research and weed out any information you might find suspect. Unfortunately, many people use it a definitive source, which is why I'm working so hard to keep the Criminal Intent pages accurate and up-to-date.

I need a piece of L&O (all four, actually) trivia cleared up for Wikipedia. Doe anyone know if the ME Elizabeth Rodgers is ever referred to as "doctor"? And can you cite your source?
Thanks!

*calling Digresser!* I checked on Wikipedia last night and had to go another round with whoever keeps insisting Nicole tried to kill Gavin in POI. I done other various corrections as well. The article is FULL of errors. We do not know that Nicole testified against Benard for a shorter jail term in Thailand, that she was deported back to Australia and then worked as a prostitute to support herself. And there was no evidence in Great Barrier for the police to convict, let alone indict, Nicole. They had nada on her and that's why they tried using a wired Ella in the first place. Because of some of the weird errors, I swear, some people never actually watched the show! Does anyone else find it hilariously ironic that as much as I hate the Nicole storyline, I can remember virtually every freaking detail about every freaking episode anyway???

Don't worry, NicoleMarie! I haven't forgotten Wikipedia. I just got back to school yesterday (we've been out since a week before Christmas), and it's on my to-do list. At home my internet connection is dial-up, on our one phone line, virus & spyware filled, and monopolized by my teenage sisters. Not the ideal place to edit pages. But now, I'm ready to continue. Sunday (barring any crazy homework assignments), I'm planning on rewatching all the Nicole episodes and stream-lining both her and Bernard's episodes. Which reminds me of something. Both IMDB and NBC's site spell his name "Bernard" whilst the Wikipedia article spells it "Benard". Anyone know for sure from the episode? I haven't labeled my CI tapes yet and it'll take forever to find it. As for episode pages, NicoleMarie, I have a template on my computer that I use. It only takes me about 25 minutes to do a complete page. Here's what I propose we -as well as anyone else here who would like to help-do! The things that are hardest for me to do are the episode summaries (because they have to be original), quotes, title cards and trivia. So if anyone wants to jot any of that information down while they're watching an episode that would be great. Just send me a message if anyone would like to help. Anyone can, of course, just make the changes right on Wikipedia, but I'm hoping we can all work together on this. If I didn't have to search for all that information while I was doing a page, I could do each page in ten minutes, tops. One other thing that I know is going to be a problem is the episode screenshots from seasons 2, 4, and 5. Anyone have some they'd like to share? Here's the link to the page in question: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Law_%26_Order:_Criminal_Intent_episodes(you'll have to copy and paste) Thanks! PS- NicoleMarie, as far as you and the Nicole storyline are concerned, you know what they say about the line between love and hate....

Hey, count me in on the episodes help! I remember every episode clearly. The only ones that may give me problems are the ones I didn't like. I'd have to rewatch them for detail. I know season 1 and 2 like the back of my hand. I looked at the tape and it is "Bernard", not "Benard". I saw Benard on Wikipedia and went with it. My goof. What's a template?

Have you ever used a Word program to make labels or business cards or something like that? Where the layout is already designed and you only need to plug in the information? That is what a template is. I made my own for the putting up the episode information. They're very handy, templates.
