Please, I'm a translator for movie subtitles currently working on Mothership L&O 15th Season.
I have to work by ear and on episode The Sixth Man, prod. # 5321, Borgia says a certain sports celebrity, Ray... something, was convicted of murder.
Branch retorts Ray Lewis pleaded a murder charge down to a slap in the wrist.
I can't understand the full name of the one who got convicted. Does the case ring any bells? Can anyone here help me out?
Thanks in advance,
Falconia from Brazil

It was a while back when "The Sixth Man" came on and I have to admit I wasn't paying too much attention, as I was also working at the time. I have also taped over my copy of the episode. The one who was convicted was either Silas Inwood or Reggie Uggams. Sorry, can't be a bigger help. This episode was obviously inspired by the 2004 brawl at the basketball game between the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons. Thank you, folks, but with Criminal Mastermind's referral to a specific L&O forum, I've found the quote.
Borgia and Branch are talking about real life sports celebs who've been involved with criminal activity. The name I couldn't catch as Rae Carruth, who got 19 to 24 for killing his heavily pregnant girlfriend. The baby survived.
Ray Lewis pleaded down a murder charge to a year probation. Lucky guy!
Thanks for your help, I really appreciated it.
