The only reason I can think of why he publicly undressed (in the show, that is) is that he was under the assumption that he was god's gift to women & that he likes to be watched. I love Goren's fleeting moments of discomfort during this scene & how Eames doesn't seem a bit phased. I also love the sly almost boyish grin he gives her when the Dr. leaves. Now refresh my memory, who was Andrew McCarthy supposed to play?

I googled "Clarence Thomas" but I couldn't find any reference that he publicly undressed himself. What is this reference about? I thought girls said Clarence Darrow And I went on a mission searching the web, looking for where he disrobed in front of a woman. Of course I didn’t find it. What I found was the Leopold and Loeb Case. www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/leoploeb/Accountoftrial.html What an interesting read. And it got me wondering, what infamous crimes of the past have caught some of the posters attentions on this forum and why? Cassie, I was referring to sexual harrassment and its outcomes in general. As for the other, Michael Jackson is always the ultimate freakshow, even if found not guilty. Still, nothing can top the OJ trial in my opinion.

I didn't know Andrew McCarthy was supposed to be in this episode. I wonder why he backed out? "Well, most of the stories seem to report that McCarthy and Vincent D'Onofrio just couldn't work together. I've read a few slams made about Mr. D'Onofrio's acting style from quotes by McCarthy." HUH? Andrew McCarthy messed up a good opportunity for himself here. I understand that working with other people can sometimes be trying, but Vincent D'Onofrio is a well respected, successful actor. Andrew McCarthy could frankly use a career boost. . Rumor has it he was a drunk.

Who, AMcC or VDO? Rather AMcC, cos I've never heard of VDO being drunk on the set (or elsewhere), which is quite rare...

Well, I have been drunk on the set, as well as on a kinda premiere party with several honorable guests present, such as university deans and so. "Pacific waters are very deep" ... wise German proverb.

True. It's just that he was the ultimate harmless guy in the Brat Pack.

If I was responsible for "Weekend at Bernies," and "Weekend at Bernies II," I'd drink, too.

oh, Ouch trisha!! LOL! Too bad about AMC. I always loved him in those eighties brat pack movies. Sure, he was the harmless guy, but the one with soul and longing. I used to have a big time crush on him.

I liked him too. He didn't have that "frat boy in waiting" quality of the others.

Had to bump this thread to say I found another repeat CI actor after seeing this ep during the marathon. The woman who played Megan is the same woman who was the mother in Magnificat. I realized it was the same woman during the scene where Goren and Eames realize the doctor poisoned her using the earrings.

Sirenna, USA ran an all-day CI marathon yesterday. THere's another one coming up next Monday May 29, Memorial Day here in the US, and it's loaded with Season 2 episodes. I posted the news a while ago in the Upcoming Episodes thread.

RIght, I don't get USA up here so I wouldn't have been able to see it, anyway.
