I haven't had much time to contribute anything noteworthy lately, having just finished 11 straight days of 12 hour shifts covering my own assigned time slot and doing some OT for colleagues on vacation. Now I get to enjoy two whole days off before it's back to work. Oh, joy!
While I'm still coherent, let me wish a Happy July 4th to our stateside members, and a belated Happy Canada Day to all Canadian members. And while I'm at it, Happy Birthday to all who have birthdays in July --I see Blucougar57, CaZ, and Sirenna are celebrating today--but I want to cover all the bases in case I can't keep up with the rest of the July revelers. Enjoy your special day, everyone.

We always go to the baseball game (we have a minor league team nearby), because they always do an awesome fireworks display. Despite the rain delay Friday night it was a good game, came through in the bottom of the 8th. Road series so they weren't in town on the actual 4th, my family just stayed in and watched the Monk marathon, although my parents and I did take a break to see "Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy" at the $1.50 theater.
And note to self, give up on Museums as a career. My internship is not what I thought it would be, I understand that interns get grunt work but I have to spend six weeks organizing transpaerncies?!?! Ugh. At least we get some decent seminars as interns, and I've gotten chatty with a couple fo the adults, so that's nice.
Later all, take care.

Thoughts and prayers go out to any UK members for the terrorist attack in London today.
Peace to all.
Thanks for those kind thoughts... I'm in the UK, and although I don't live in London, my brother and sister do, and I was horribly scared for them for a while. Fortunately, they are safe. But many are not.
I'm just a lurker around here usually, but I really appreciate that folks on this board care about us Brits.
