The final fim is finally released on thursday in the UK and I can't wait. Has it been released yet in the US, what did everyone think? I hope it as good as the other films except episode 2 which wasn't very good.

Well, I am so biased - I think everyone is great.
I'm so psyched to see this one ... I think it releases this weekend or next, but I will wait until it has been out a few weeks to see it - I hate big crowds of people.
I read the book for episode 3 which was based on the scripted - it is going to be exciting AND this is the only one with a PG13 rating - all the others have been PG and that, I hear is because of the amount of violence. Damn that Vader!

Eh, I'd like to see what happens--we know the end results but it'll be cool to see how it gets there. But I haven't been as all fired up as a lot of people--"Hitchhiker" had me more excited. We're out of town the next several days, I suppose I'll get around to it in a little while and let the crowds die down. Shoot, I didn't even see "Phantom Menace" until it hit the $1.50 theater and school was cancelled for Hurricane Floyd.

Well, I saw this a few hours ago. It was good. Better than 1, definitely way better than the "clowns' of 2. I've never been able to sit through repeats of 1 and 2, but I'd see this one again. That being said, I still prefer the originals.

It’s been so long... I saw a prequel that had the young Anakin piloting in a race... and one that had a Marshwiggle on happy pills... (or was it a Trog? Depends on whether you read C.S. Lewis or Alexei Panshin – childrens’ fantasy or old-fashioned science fiction... anyway, it was a long-legged somehow froggy-like being). Were those two different episodes, or both the same one? Funny, my memory of the earlier three episodes is much clearer... Anyway, it sounds like this one is worth going to see. I’ll try to get to it while it’s still in the theaters... if the lines of occurrence allow... “Thurb!”<br> Sorry about that... for some reason, when insomnia strikes too many nights in a row, I start making obscure references to songs and literature from the 60s and 70s. “...came of age in the sixties...” and all that – “the sixties” actually being a cultural phenomenon that lasted well into the early seventies. Anyway, just ignore it. Unless you’ve read Panshin’s “The Thurb Revolution,” of course! Torv the Trog... now *there* was a quirky character! (There, you see... I'm never *really* off-topic! Everything is connected! ...oops, wrong series... in fact, wrong network! But it counts if we're playing 6-degrees of D'Onofrio, since "Everything is connected" is the catch-phrase from Sinese's new series, so there! ;D )

Am I the only person on the planet that hasn't seen even one Star Wars movie? The news coverage of the latest release was a hoot. People were calling off work, camping outside the theater to be first in line. Just what have I been missing? ?

My ranking of the new Star Wars films. Episode 3 Episode 1 Episode 2
but of course they can't touch the old classics.
