I haven't seen it yet, but by the trailer, it's going to be amazing! I love Russ in good times and in bad...and the "telephone" incident won't make me stop being a fan of his. I would love to see VDO and Russ in a movie together, but the egos might have a hard time!

I liked Mr. Crow sp? in that movie where he was a ship captain. I do think he is a decent actor and very easy on the eyes.
I, however, have not much patience with big egos - I find it tiresome and useless; even more so from people in positions of financial ease - financial is a big burden and worry and if you have that big rock off your shoulders - then you should have even more reason to curb your more nasty/negative habits.
You'd think I would be eager to see Cinderella Man; but it looks just par for the course to me. I think it will be a movie I catch on cable. Tell me what you think of it.

His name is spelled C-r-o-w-e. You're speaking of Master and Commander. Jack Aubrey was a great character for him to play. Almost all of his films, except for "Heavens Burning", "No Way Back" and "Proof of Life". Those were terrible. The others...well, they're some of his best work EVER.
I'll let you know without spoilers.

Crowe and Zellweger did a fine job in this film. I went to see it in a theater and was not dissapointed. The best parts for me were the characterizations of the married couple struggling against utter desperation during the Depression. The film took pains with the period facets and it really gave me the visuals to better appreciate what my parents lived through.
There is some very interesting camera work involving the fight scenes and also to mark the passage of time. Kudos to Ron Howard and his crew. I generally do not watch boxing nor do I enjoying watching people fight, but I was able to enjoy this film.
Definitely worth a rental, and will surely come to cable. Your call.

We saw this movie this weekend. I would highly recommend it. A true story of courage and I guess love, during the depression. and a great boxing match at the end. ;D . Its not for the screamish. I am not a real sports fan. but I like boxing. I think cause its one on one and easy to follow. The last time I got this excited over boxing. Ken Norton was in the ring ohhhh and did you know Jethro Bodine's real life pa was a boxer. Max Bear. was his name Great performances by everyone in the movie
