Has anyone else seen this? All I can say is WOW I recommend buying the DVD as opposed to renting, as you might have to watch it quite a few times to absorb it all, at least I do, I might be just a little dense madger

A few questions : Is Jamey Sheridan on screen long enough for you to see him? Did George Clooney give an Oscar winning performance? Are the extras interesting?

Maherjunkie: I don't think GS was in this movie, but everyone else was.
Spaniard: I think you have to watch it a few times, it's hard keeping track of who's who. It helps to watch the extras, they explain a bit of what is going on. madger

It looks like she is in the deleted scenes part of the DVD.
"David Germain, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
"Syriana" — George Clooney plays a CIA agent who's a cog in the global web of greed, corruption, shady politics and Muslim enmity toward the West over Middle Eastern oil. The DVD includes interviews with co-star Matt Damon, writer-director Stephen Gaghan and other collaborators, but the disc's extras focus squarely on Clooney, including three deleted scenes that expand on his character and give a glimpse of his private life (Greta Scacchi, whose role was cut from the finished film, plays his wife). $28.98. (Warner Bros.)"

It looks like she is in the deleted scenes part of the DVD. So that's who that is, they mostly show the back of her head. They focus on George Clooney because of the Oscar, but it really is an ensemble piece. Also it is based on the book "See No Evil" by Robert? Bauer, an ex-CIA agent, so they give him a little more press. Filmnoir, are you the Grand Poobah of film information, or what? madger

Thank you. I received my copy yesterday and watched the deleted scenes first and you are right--blink and you missed her.
I look forward to seeing this movie when I have time to pay very close attention. George Clooney has had a much better movie career and received more acclaim as film actor than he ever did on TV. I think he has many years ahead of him as a working actor.

I saw this last night and agree, you must watch it more then once to understand who is who, and what all is going on.... but A lot is being said. I enjoyed seeing George Clooney. I didnt see George Clooney the good looking hunk of a movie star in this movie. To me, in this role, I saw him as an average looking guy, who had issues with his job.
