Is anybody looking forward to "Lady in the Water"? I like how M. Night tells a story. Wouldn't he be good with a Stephen King story?

I saw the previews for this movie yesterday at the theater. It kind of reminds me of Scarey "Cocoon" 1985 movie, which was directed by Ron Howard, the father of Bryce Dallas Howard who stars in it. She also was in "The Village" She is a pretty young lady. This weekend we fell upon a movie called "Dead End" starring Ray Wise it was about a woman in a white dress. Stephen King could have written it. It was scarey without the gore and funny too

Years ago I saw a movie called "The Lady in White". (I think it was a Stephen King story.) I have it on tape somewhere. Anyway, I loved it. Good ghost story with all the real life creepiness of the evil only men can do. There's a little boy in it, who sees a little girl ghost. The little girl sings, "Did you ever see a dream walking, well I did..." Is that the one?

The Lady in White is a victorian mystery-suspense novel by Wilkie Collins. He wrote around twenty books, but The Lady in White and The Moonstone are probably his best. I know there is an A&E version of the story.

You're right lenore, I read the book you're speaking of, but this is a different story. I'll go see if I can find the tape and look up the cast and writer.
