I was so impressed by this, without particularly expecting it to be. I thought it was flawless.

I agree - I absolutely loved the movie and I too was surprised by how good it was. I like musicals as is, but this was a real treat!

You probably have to like musicals, and John Travolta is not as great as all that (big-ticket star and all), but I was not bored for one single minute. And I usually am! LOL
