Good point Catbird. My other concern is, if the VAST majority of members don't even bother to click the bubbles to vote on the episode polls, how much participation can we expect from a poll designed to reveal more details about ourselves? It seems to me a lot of work could go into producing something that most members won't give a hoot about.

You know what I think? I think a combo poll/survey would be great fun. I suspect that some people don't bother so much with the polls because it IS just clicking a button.....and that may not be terribly exciting to people when they've just posted all the ins&outs about an episode in the episode thread. Though granted, I love the polls myself...there's just something satisfying about the grading sytem But a combo of a poll, PLUS a few fun questions to answer survey-style would be awfully fun. Or I may just be horribly nerdy

Janethyland, when you read our discussion threads people have talked off and on about all those questions you were curious about. Like SarahIvy implied, although for a different subject, the polls would seem redundant after such posts, or at least that's how I view it.
But whatever. Not to intrude on Techguy's newly bestowed title--if I'm out of turn the Grand Poobah can scold me-- but if y'all want the thing my guess is you can go ahead and do it. I my own self just don't want member surveys to take over the section for specific episodes. Fallback answer: check with the Mods.

PS: My preferred nickname for W, following in Molly Ivins footsteps, is Shrub. For what it's worth... Or my mother's knee jerk reaction: "The man is an idiot!"
BUt with regards to the topic of discussion. I'm certainly not trying to be ugly or hurt anyone's feelings, but just to express my own opinion. If I came across rude, apologies. Chalk my own communication mishaps up to fatigue: an essay exam, a date-heavy quiz, and a revised multiple-part research project in the last 48 hours, plus waking up for no good reason at 6:00 this morning --with less than 4 hours of rest!--unable to go back to sleep. Blah.

I voted A-. Personally, I like the variations of A's to vote with. This episode wasn't quite bad enough for me to give it a B, but it has enough flaws not to justify an A.
Thanks for the bump, Techguy.
