No snarky comebacks here, just getting down to business. What do you all think?

I would have given it an A- minus, so I went with the A.

B--because the murderer was not a surprise, and the aria was disapointing. Still, the acting was excellent, the snarks were poll-worthy and I'm definately in Ross's corner now. But the blonde (hair) has to go... ;D

I'd like to give it an A-/B+ really. The first half hour or so and anything dealing with Eames and Goren was excellent, but the crime got lost. But what I liked, I really liked.

For my opinion see above 2 post by Sarahlee and Patcat. I gave it a B. Madger, who is really pushing her luck with the boss and should get back to work.

I gave it an A+ because of the wonderful, talented performances of VDO & Erbe. God, those two were so good, I can overlook any shortcomings. Also loved Ross, his loyalty & ethics. And of course, M.E. Rogers. I liked her haircut. As far as the haircolor, the blond is fine, just tone it down a bit. And her clumsy attempt at sympathy for Eames - so touching.

I gave it an A couldn't give it an A+ cause it still left me wanting more, it would have been great if Chevy would have done like lunesta, so we could have had a few more minutes. Also the show ended a few minutes earlier. Usually it runs till :59 min. But it ended at :55 min. anyone else notice?

Gave it an A because of the plot maze. Hey on the upside, at least we didn't have a dirty cop, police coverup story with Frank Adair manipulating things from behind bars.

I agree--real restraint there in terms of making this "not just another dirty cop story."
I really do think that the whole point was Eames finding peace of mind rather than a more traditional whodunnit (like it or not). I see what Erbe meant when she said it would be "satisfying."

I gave it an A instead of an A+ because of the changes. I didn't care for them.
Re: Eames' peace of mind...I wonder how much peace she really feels right now, knowing there was an innocent man convicted of Joe's murder. For 8 years she thought the killer was behind bars.

I went with A because I thought the plot could have been a little better.
I don't think she's going to have too much piece of mind with the wrong man being in jail for the crime and the consequence of his son turning into a murderer to avenge him. All those what-ifs! Then again Eames seems to be as good as Goren at burying painful emotions until something happens to bring them up. I don't know.

The last part was quite rushed.

Maybe I was in an incredibly generous mood when I voted, maybe I was reacting to seeing a new episode after such a long wait, or maybe it was the shift in focus away from the Goren angst and toward Eames. But whatever the reason, I found a lot to like in "Amends" and rewarded it accordingly--and voted A.
