I pinky swear I didn't find it anywhere else.......and I want somewhere to ramble about it without boring everyone else silly.
The "bonus" material looked suspiciously identical to the bonus material in the first episode DVD released. Did anyone else notice that? Of course, I could go back and watch them both one after the other to see myself, but this is easier from work....
I'm not sure I remember seeing Art or Smothered before (2nd & 3rd show) so it was a real treat to see a "new" episode mid summer. The characterizations seem the same - in that they don't seem to have changed personalities as the series progressed, which is nice. Carter doesn't have nearly as much airtime now which is a shame. I like that Goren is the central character - I watch for VDO after all, but the ensemble only adds interest to the show.
Anyone have a favorite show from Season One? Why that show? (anything for topics! Favorite undercover outfit? etc lol).

I don't have the One dvd, so I had no idea that the bonus material was the same. I had often thought about buying it just to see said materials, too. Guess I'll skip if for good now. I think we all have favorites from season one, and if I recall correctly, for several of us, me included, that episode is Phantom. Before Phantom aired I was just a part-time loci viewer. It was on, but I wasn't. I was on auto pilot, and usually doing something else at the same time that took precedence over loci. When Phantom aired I was glued to the tv, and I'll even admit to running -- literally, to and from the bathroom so I wouldn't miss a second of it. When the episode ended, I was awe struck. My mouth was dry and my heart was pounding in my chest. I have been addicted to this show ever since. I'm a little jealous of you for getting to see "new" episodes midsummer. Art and Smothered are both very good episodes. I think that until I saw summer reruns of them, they were like firsts to me because I had never really paid attention to the tilty-headed guy

Trisha, don't put off buying it on my say-so! I haven't watched the first episode bonus materials immediately following the first season bonus materials so I'm not certain they're the same, that was just my, ah.......first impression . They certainly seemed similar, but with the dearth of info on my favorite show (granted, possibly because I have obsessive tendencies) it could just be because I saw/read something close. Phantom. Hmm. Must go check out the Home Page and verify it's the one I'm thinking it is.
