I love that pic of Lennie's desk. Thanks for sharing To use the image tags, you have to put the url to the image between them like this... (img)url of image(/img) *** use brackets [ ] instead of parentheses To do the photos in your link you would have to get a url for each one, and then place each url in img tags. We are not allowed to hotlink, so you have to copy the images you want to post, and host them yourself somewhere. Does that help?

Very nice pictures! I think I'm going to cry next season when I realize Lennie Briscoe is really gone. And L&O TBJ is not on soon enough to console me.

Re: Law & Order Goes To NYU, More Set Pics « Reply #3 on: Today at 11:00am » <br>http://photos.yahoo.com/sirennaramesar2000
I've been having trouble posting pics and info without hotlinking. I've tried a few photo hosting sites but the pics are small or cut off so it's back to Yahoo. Click the link above for some pics from the mothership's next season. Double click the image to enlarge it. The comments below refer to the car and the restaurant scenes with Mr. Farina, the new detective and they are based on a story about a series of NYU student suicides and a student who lived in the school library (?!) I have to agree with the comment on Rohm - not my favourite either!
Here's some commenatry from the fan, Jenny Chang, who visited the set:
Law & Order Goes To NYU
L&O was filming around NYU for what I can only assume was their 'Ripped from the Headlines: NYU student take the plunge' episode. Jesse L. Martin was there and Dennis Farina and Assistant ME. First, they filmed a crime scene on 5th Ave, by Washington Square Park and the Washington Mews, then it was over to the Duane Reade on West 4th between Mercer and Broadway. This set I actually saw - a young blonde guy had jumped (or was he pushed) out of window and had fallen spectacularly onto a new Jaguar, smashing the windshield. Now, they are filming over at 380 Lafayette...
Anyway, from the pictures, it looks like the L&O crew took over Great Jones Street as well, what with Acme in the background of this photo and the Time Cafe in the third photo.
And while we are not really a fan of Elisabeth Rohm as ADA Serena Southerlyn, we must give her props for her hair - it's really evolved since her first season.

Oh, I love those behind-the scenes looks. (And I must say I like the little detail touches--officers appearance, the thank you note from a school, etc.)
I personally do not like Rohm's hairstyle. I liked the early look--short, full. I don't think the long, slick look is very professional (and I'm guessing that was a pre-filming shot of "blond da", how many lawyers work with their tummy showing?). But I saw an interview and Rohm said it was important to her that the character could be stylish and still a competent worker; her version of feminism that Southerlyn didn't have to be stodgy or frumpy to be taken seriously. Whatever, not that I have any real experience in the working world.

My favourite is the Personal Appearance Guide pic. It says:
Keep hair tapered to the general shape of the head and not reaching the collar
Keep sideburns closely trimmed and not extending below the bottom of the lobe of the ear. (Gross muttonchops are not permitted.)
Have mustaches neatly trimmed and not extending beyond nor dropping the mouth.
Beards, goatees, etc. are not permitted except when approved by a commanding officer due to the nature of the a member's assigment or when due to a medical problem (?!) and with the written approval of the Chief Surgeon.

Yes, sometimes men's whiskers will get badly ingrown when they shave, and in that case the constant scraping and cuts will cause infections and pain. I believe that was the case with James Worthy at Carolina--pretty much the only player in UNC history to have a beard. Normally Dean Smith wouldn't allow it but basically the doctor told Coach it was necessary, so Dean allowed Worthy to grow out just long enough to prevent any problems, no longer.
Sorry to ramble but you seemed confused over the medical issue. Having grown up with Carolina basketball I knew the story, plus my Dad has worked with a couple men who had that same problem.
