Hi, All!
I have been writing to Universal intermittently for several months to ask them to release Law &Order: Criminal Intent Seasons 2 & 4 on DVD soon. Each time I write, I explain that I'm writing to them about it because L&O: CI is never on their "Coming Soon" lists. The last time I checked was a couple of days ago; the lists were out for as far ahead as October, and neither Season 2 nor 4 is on the lists. So I wrote to Universal again. They told me that at this time they have no plans to release L&O: CI Season 2 or 4 on DVD. They thanked me for my interest and told me to keep checking the lists to see what was coming soon.
I think that we need to light a fire under Universal. So everybody who wants those seasons of L&O: CI on DVD, please tell them. Here's the link:
www.universalstudios.com/homepage/html/contact_us/contact_form.cgi?email_id=10
If this link doesn't work, here's the long version of how to get there:
Go to www.universalstudios.com .
On the home page, move your cursor over "Enter Our Universe" near the top of the page.
Click on "Contact Us". A new window will open.
Read the message, then click "I Accept". The page will change.
In the "Entertainment" box, click on "DVD & VHS". Their FAQs page will open.
Click on "Contact Us", which is the first link on the page. A "Contact Us" form page will open.
Tell Universal that you want Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Seasons 2 & 4 on DVD.
Ask them to hurry up about it!
Y'all, we're never going to get what we want if we don't agitate! Universal needs to know what we want before they can give it to us. We need to tell them what we want before they can know it. It starts with us, and we'd better start getting the gate squeaking!!!!!!!
Shall we start a class in Remedial Agitation 101?
N.B. -- If you want L&O: CI on DVD for a DVD Region other than Region 1, follow this same procedure to tell Universal that. The main thing is to tell them!
Thanks for listening, everybody! I hope that some of us will really do this. I truly believe that all the giant corporations that hold the rights to Vincent D'Onofrio's projects will give them to us in the format that we want if enough of us ask for it.
