Kissyfit, I think I would also like to have an Eames episode like that I know it must seem hypocritical since I keep asking for less Goren backstory, but we've got so much already! I'd love for Eames to be more defined.

I totally hear what you are saying, Trisha... and I think it could be done subtly as it has largely been done for Goren's character, with just a few asides, or with a 'dual agenda' epi as described above... there's no question Goren is the more prominent character, but I see Eames as so much more than just a wisecracking sidekick. If nothing else, she is a great complement to Bobby...it would be great to get a glimpse into why... even as the Goren character changes, Eames keeps up... Another kind of hint about her life, to provide the Eames character another dimension (in addition to her nephew), at this point seems to me both welcome and appropriate. kissy

The basic character description for Deakins and Carver is mentioned on the show's websites. It describes Deakins as a political animal. I only saw glimpses of this in season 1, and I liked it a lot. This storyline was lost in later seasons, to the detriment of the show. -Beth
