Well, I'm disappointed but not surprised--no new CI episodes until after the New Year.
Just what I need, going into sugar substitute shock from all the saccharine holiday specials.

Yeah!!! Omni 2, a tv station here in Toronto, is showing LO:CI FIVE nights a weeks starting January 2nd at 6pm followed by SVU. I work 9-5 and it takes me about an hour to commute - an hour and ten minutes if I stop to pick up dinner. Since first ten minutes of the show are crucial, I think I can make it, if I elbow a few old biddies off the streetcar.

Hurry Sirenna, you need to sit down and put DVR or TIVO on the top of your list for Santa. It's not too late! If you've been a naughty girl, tell Santa it isn't for your own L&O:CI enjoyment but your concerned for the safety of the poor souls you will be forced to trample over during rush hour. Joanie

Per nbcumv:
DOLLHOUSE January 8, 2006 @ 9PM ET
CHEATERS ARE EVERYWHERE WHEN PHONY PATERNITY SUITS LEAD TO MURDER -- The gunshot murder of a businessman perplexes Detectives Logan (Christopher Noth) and Barek (Annabella Sciorra) until they suspect that Danielle (guest star Elizabeth Berkley) -- a self-involved mother -- has made a cottage industry of blackmailing other cheating family men with phony paternity claims. But the detectives discover that Danielle's seemingly meek and maternal sister Claire (guest star Heather Burns) could be playing a far more sinister role in the scam. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.

He he He.
I've only been a little bit naughty but TIVO isn't one of my prezzies this year - maybe next year!

Paging Janetcatbird--you MIGHT get to do the poll for this one after all!
Per nbcumv:
SLITHER January 15, 2006 @ 9PM ET
GOREN TRACKS COLD-BLOODED MASTER MURDERER AND HIS GANG TO A DEADLY NEMESIS -- Detectives Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) encounter a gang of high-class, low-lifes led by Bernard (guest star Michael York), a slimy European with a taste for aging blondes and fine wine, who befriends, kills and robs tourists. Goren, however, is shocked to discover that the master murderer shares a connection to a deadly nemesis. The detectives try to out-maneuver the effete but effective Bernard -- and his posse of adoring women who kill for him -- until Goren's language skills help him zero in on a crime spree that spans the globe. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.

Thanks for the heads-up, Techguy! I dunno--if Blondie were gonna show up in this one you just know the spoilers and press blurbs would be all over it. Or, gasp, have they learned to keep their mouths shut? Like I said, I'm running low on titles so I REALLY want this storyline wrapped up soon. Besides, I'm not wasting great lines on casual mentions if she doesn't really appear.

So "Serpentine" has become "Slither". Interesting.
Well, the weekend of Friday the 13th looks to be a lucky one! The season premiere of Monk and a new Goren and Eames ep. I realize that I'm a minority, but I enjoy the Nicole storyline (except for "Great Barrier", could have done without that one). I look forward to seeing if we're introduced to the person who helped turn her into the psycho she is today.

So, "Slither" will be the 100th episode?! It will be interesting to see if that gets as much press as SVU's 100th episode.
I don't really care if Nicole shows up or not...I'm just excited about seeing Michael York! Run Logan, run! ;D

Yea, Michael York is a big name--I wonder how LOCI attracts these great guest stars.
If Mr. York is portraying the man who helped to twist Nicole into what she is he's an actor worthy of playing the part.

Anybody have a head's up on when "In The Wee Small Hours" is going to appear again -- on NBC, USA or Bravo? My brother taped over it. @%#$&% loser!!! Yes, we've had words... I'd just like to re-tape when it's coming on again.

I wish I knew just how "Nicole-y" Slither is going to be. I think I will watch the movie with Stephanie March (ex-Cabot, SVU) and read the boards and then catch the repeat on USA. Considerably less annoying that way.

And miss the 100th ep? NicoleMarie, I'm aghast! And, kidding, although I thought it was you who first pointed out the 100th episode a few months ago. But, as you said, the episode will surely repeat again and again over the next few months. Plus, the movie (Jesse Stone: Night Passage, right?) features Tom Selleck as well. Not a bad thing in my opinion. However, I'm still rallying for the 100th ep! Nicole Wallace is a storyline I, for one, like - when it's handled correctly.

Nicole Wallace is a storyline I, for one, like - when it's handled correctly. I think it was me who pointed out that the 100th was coming up but if it entails Nicole in any manner, I can skip it and get to it later like I have with the other Nicole shows. I haven't *ever* liked the Nicole storyline. The soapiness, plotholes, and inconsistencies drive me crazy. ;D The little devil on my shoulder keeps poking me with it's pitchfork to prod me to say: It just figures that the 100th CI would have something to do with Nicole!! *growls*
