Hey all I just went over to the Official CI site at NBC - It looks like they won't be airing the show again until - March 5th - with a repeat of Dollhouse. So I'm officially bummed - Has anybody heard anything different OR do we really have to wait this long until be get to see our show again - even in repeats.

Well the Olympics are dominating the primetime while they're on and that begins this Friday. USA is gonna be dominated too, but I think there should still be a few episodes on there.
The fact that when they do return from the Olympic break they are showing Dollhouse again pisses me off. That will be only 3 new episodes since before Christmas !!! THAT SUCKS !!!

I don't mind the repeats so much as I didn't tape most of the episodes the first run thru.
I just wish that they would show them now ( the repeats ) late in the evening or something - after all the Oylimpic coverage. And then when March comes around we could finally get some new episodes.

The fact that L&O:CI and Crossing Jordan are still on the air 5 years later in spite of the haphazard way the shows are aired amazes me.
At least L&O and SVU usually air every Tuesday and Wednesday for the most part. L&O:CI and Crossing Jordan are always bumped to air "theatrical movies", "disaster miniseries or retro specials. Then there is no momentum for new episodes versus reruns. This fall they aired 5 new episodes, next a rerun, the 2 hour movie, skipped 2 weeks, aired 2 new episodes, aired reruns/specials for 4 weeks, aired 3 new episodes and now they are going another 7 weeks of reruns/Olympics. Well at least by March 19, they should be able to air 10 non-stop new episodes.
At least in previous seasons they would air 9 non-stop new episodes in the fall.

Yeah I am especially amased that Jordan has survived cuz she has been shipped here there and everywhere. Finally finding a home after Criminal Intent on Sunday nights, only to be thrown into a mass of shaking scheduling, and then next season the whole NFL Sunday game b.s. These poor shows are just getting NO respect what so ever !! They are bonafide shows, why get treated by a show that is new and they are trying to find the right spot for ?? WTF is going on ?!?!?

If ever there were reason to start CI's season after NFL football ends and run all new episodes without interruption, the random haphazard spoon feeding of new episodes we have seen this season would seem to argue in favor of the alternative schedule.

I am all for it !! I seriously think that starting mid-season may do both shows some good, run them clear through mid-summer and they will be on top of the world !!!

I agree - I would rather CI air without all the huge gaps that they have done in airing it this year. So if I have to wait until Jan for season 6 of my fave show to start so be it!! As long as they start treating this wonderful show with the respect it deserves I'm happy

It would give the show more momentum. It sure has helped "24" I like knowing that when all of my shows are reruns that I will always get a new episode of "24" each week.
Now if Universal would just release the DVDs of the previous season of L&O:CI before the new season starts like FOX does with "24" that would be great.
If NBC would stick to plan to air in Jan. 2007 and not pull a stunt like ABC did with Alias or Boston Legal that would be good.

O man, what ABC did with Boston Legal last season was horrible !!! They still havent aired the remianing 7 episodes like they said they would !! I think they aired 2 of them just before this season started, but they were supposed to start this season with those 7 and didnt. I am still pissed !! That show is up there with CI and CSI as one of my faves and 7 episodes is alot to miss !!!
