Anyone seen this movie before? How big is CBV's part?
Saturday, April 24 @8:00PM NBC MOVIE OF THE WEEK
SPACE COWBOYS In 1958, the members of Team Daedalus, a unit of top Air Force test pilots, were ready to serve their country as the first Americans in space, only to see their shot to soar among the stars crash and burn with the creation of NASA. Forty-Two years later, Frank Corvin (Clint Eastwood), Hawk Hawkins (Tommy Lee Jones), Jerry O'Neil (Donald Sutherland) and Tank Sullivan (James Gardner) have been reunited in the hopes of living their dream of flying in space as NASA enlist their help repairing a failing Russian communications satellite on a collision coarse with Earth. William Devane and Courtney B. Vance (NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent") also star.

I see that *they* spelled Mr. Garner's name wrong.

It's a very small part--I didn't recognize him either. I mean, it's a decent movie, but not exactly a highlight of Mr. Vance's career.

::)He's in it enough to watch it, although you don't want to go make a sandwich. You might miss him then.

He plays one of the younger astronauts, he's there but I don't remember anything astounding.

Thanks for the updates PatCat and Catbird. I remember seeing the preview for this movie long ago and the preview made it look interesting. I'll probably tune in to see James Garner

Well I caught parts of it and missed the last twenty minutes completely. I didn't get home from work until 25 minutes into the movie. He was in quite a bit. I'm glad Ethan was the "red shirt". ;D It looked interesting so I'll have to rent a copy.
I was flipping channels. I also saw that one of our local stations was playing the 1982 version of "That Championship Season". Robert Mitchum was the coach in that and Paul Sorvino played Phil.
