So I've come to the Sopranos really late in the game. I never had HBO so I didn't see an episode until it came to A&E this year. This week marked Annabella Sciorra's first appearance on the show as Dr. Melfi's patient/Tony's lover. I have to say she seemed very animated and passionate and I had no trouble understanding her...all in contrast to her LOCI work. I wonder if it was the mysterious backstory she created for Barek that made her so unemotional on the show.
